We've got the lowdown on how to make your journey as pain-free as possible. Follow our tips and you'll be zooming through the airport and seeing the best of Zhoujingxiang before you know it. What to pack in your hand luggage:
- First, pack your passport, travel documents, bank cards and medications. Next, you'll want some entertainment to while away the hours. A thrilling novel and a laptop crammed with your favourite movies are some wonderful options. If you intend to take a short snooze, a neck pillow and a pair of noise-cancelling headphones will also come in handy. Finally, find room for a toothbrush and some deodorant so you'll touchdown looking fresh and ready to go.
Do not pack the following items in your hand luggage:
- Squeeze all your full-sized bottles of shampoo and hairspray in your checked baggage. Any liquids or gels in your carry-on bag larger than 3.4 ounces (100 millilitres) won't be allowed on. Sharp objects, like your trusty Swiss Army knife, and products which are explosive or flammable, such as spray paint, flares and fireworks, are also not allowed.
What to wear on a flight:
- Your aim is to be as comfortable as you can. Go for shoes that are easy to pull on and off, dress in loose, natural fibers and don't forget to take a sweater in case you get chilly in the cabin.
- It's likely you've heard about deep vein thrombosis (DVT), a blood clotting condition caused by prolonged periods of inactivity. To reduce your risk on board, stay hydrated, consider wearing compression tights or socks and move your legs and feet often.
