"We had a nice room and the bed was very comfortable, with four pillows and a nice down comforter. There were some issues with our room, though. The bathroom door was difficult to close and some of the paint had been scraped off because of poor alignment. The outlets between the beds did not work. The outlets inside the bathroom did not work either. When we went to checkout, I had been charged $5.42 for making coffee inside the room. The person at the front desk removed the charge. Then, after checking out and leaving, our credit card was charged $9.95. Apparently, housekeeping said that we used a bottle of Fiji water that we did not use. What is going on with housekeeping at this Westin? The beds were comfortable and nice, but the rest was not okay."

"My only complaint is regarding the price of $5.00 for a 6 oz. bottle of milk in the convenience store. That’s offensive. This shopping was only because the coffee bar in my room had powdered cream mate. Yuck!"

"The room 100 is very loud with it being next to the stairs. There was also not hot water so we showered mostly luke warm water which felt cold during the time we were there. The air conditioner and everything was loud. The air vent was loud in the bathroom. Beds were nice on the other hand and the room was pretty clean."

"Location in Pasadena was great. Parking is a struggle. If you go out to dinner, you are unlikely to find a spot easily. Biggest dissatisfaction was the quality of the breakfast. Egg and sausage biscuits were horrible. Scrambled eggs were not real eggs. Second was the noise factor. Was on 2nd floor and you could hear guests above all night - almost no noise insulation between floors."

"Had a pool view room set up for the stay, we were put on the third floor where it was the pool that had a view to our room. We asked for a room clean for one of the days but they were unable to due to being short staffed. The housekeeper in the hallway was very nice and helped me get new towels though. They wont automatically clean your room, you will have to call the front desk to schedule a clean. The walls are very thin, sleep was not the best since the next door neighbors liked to shower at 3am, also our room was infront of the elevators which was high traffic and high noise. The property is really nice and clean and new."

".I genuinely struggle to understand how this hotel has managed to achieve a guest rating as high as 9.4, because my experience was completely at odds with that impression. From the moment I arrived, the issues were immediately apparent. The reception area was in a shocking state—there was a strong, unpleasant smell of lingering food, which made the first impression particularly off-putting. The entrance itself looked neglected, with exposed bare metal and paint that appeared not to have been refreshed in years. Rather than welcoming, it felt run-down and poorly maintained. Unfortunately, this sense of neglect continued throughout the property. What seemed like attempts at refurbishment came across as amateur and incomplete, doing little to improve the overall condition. The interiors felt tired, old, and shabby, lacking the level of care and upkeep you would reasonably expect. Overall, the condition of the hotel fell far below expectations, and certainly does not align with the high rating it currently holds. Based on my stay, I would not recommend it."

"We have stayed at this Marriott many times. The area of Pasadena was once flourishing , but now sadly it has started to look run down. Many restaurants and stores have left this area. It’s too bad."
