Loved the location and service from each individual my husband and I encountered. Walking distance to the plazza de la republica where there are plenty of shops and restaurants. It’s approximately a half hour walk but so worth it. Bring your comfy shoes! Food was amazing in the hotel restaurant loved the breakfast buffet worth the $25 euros for it! We will definitely be back! Thank you so much for a great stay and we hope to visit real soon!

Lovely hotel right on the river Arno. 1.5 mile walk to town but hotel has a great shuttle service and the bus stop is also only a few minutes walk. Breakfast was really nice, staff very friendly and helpful. Room very clean and comfortable. Spa area was really nice, used it three times during our stay, one hour included per day, pool with jets, sauna and steam room. Had it to ourselves each time as we were there in low season. Would definitely stay here again if we are ever back in Florence.

This is a nice hotel but overpriced and all about money. The breakfast is 25 euros per person and we had barely started eating the buffet before the waiter started trying to collect money. We ate lunch here and it was very overpriced for basic food (35 euros for a glass of red wine!!!). The controls on the hot water in the shower were broken. Otherwise it’s a nice setting.

We would like to inform you that breakfast price is always communicated in advance, and we show the bill at the end of the service. Regarding restaurant prices, there could have been a misunderstanding because a glass of red wine is 7,00. First dish is around 16,00, therefore for 2 people with 2 first courses, 2 glasses of red wine and a bottle of water is 51,00 in total.Regarding the controls on the hot water, we are sorry about it, and we apologize for this inconvenience. 1) Check-in was supposed to be 2pm. But the room was ready at 2:50pm. 2) Bathroom smelled bad. 3) Found a spider under our bed. 4) We could hear cars driving night/morning 5) Restaurant food was good.

Our room was so big and comfortable, the hotel grounds are beautiful. We were hoping to swim but there was a rainstorm during our stay. I will say it is a bit of a walk to the city center but we used the hotel shuttle which was great and taxis. The hotel staff was so helpful and kind. They even gave us a little bag of snacks and waters when we left. We would highly recommend this hotel!

A lovely large villa. We had a beautiful large room with beautiful views of the river from our balcony. A few things though disappointed me and made our stay less than perfect. 1. The property provides free shuttle to the centre. However this is not there in the afternoon. It is about 10-15 mins away from the centre and costs €20 each way by taxi. Not a deal breaker though. 2. I called the hotel when I was booking the stay a few months ago to check if the room we weee booking had a queen bed and 2 proper single beds as our children are 16 and 13. I was assured they were proper single beds. However one was a sofa divan type thing with a good mattress and the other was a pop up bed which was very unsatisfactory. 3. The food is very expensive and unfortunately there was nothing on the menu we saw we would like. Most good restaurants are in the centre. But the hotel allows food delivery which is good. 4. Only 1 bottle of water provided for a family of 4. All hotels I have stayed in have provided 2-4 bottles. 5. The outdoor pool is not heated which is ok. It is quite small and has a depth of 1.7m. So younger children would not really enjoy this. 6. The indoor spa and pool has to be booked for a 1 hour slot. We missed our slot due to train cancellations one day the youngsters were disappointed, we were really hoping to relax after a whole day at Cinque Terra. All in all, nice hotel but less than satisfactory stay for us. I guess it would be nice for couples.

Riverfront haven with helpful staff
Beautiful setting along the river. Great restaurant for breakfast and dinner. Spacious room, clean, well maintained and beautiful furnishings. Only thing not amazing were the pillows which were a little flat. Staff was very helpful and helped me retrieve my cell phone from a taxi that I left it in - avoided a huge inconvenient tragedy! My wife wants to go back and the rest of our trip now is being measured against this hotel..

Friendly and attentive staff. Great location by the river with easy access to city centre. Bikes for hire. Clean and well-maintained. Nice touches eg mini ice creams offered by the pool. Would highly recommend.

Excellent five-star hotel. Exemplary staff and service; delicious meals; clean and modern rooms. Located on the Arno, this hotel is everything a Florence stop should be. Use one of the hotel's bicyles to ride into Florence. It's a nice ride alongside the river and a very convenient way to get around town.

Amazing hotel!!! *Bikes need maintenance*
Overall this hotel is amazing. Super nice and clean. Pool is amazing. Great bar area. Good service and friendly staff. We would bike to and from town during the day. Take the shuttle back to the city center in the evening, then walk off dinner along the river at night. Also can’t beat the on site parking and easy access. I only have 2 complaints: The breakfast was way overpriced…50 euro per couple…and to do a la carte it cost 14 euro for 2 cappuccinos and 2 tiny croissants. Also, the bikes need some serious maintenance…rims are bent, tires are dried out and low on air…brakes are not fully functional….seats do not have quick release which makes it hard to adjust height. This is an east fix for a high end hotel. Call your local bike mechanic.

Highlight of our trip, the service and food at the hotel is excellent, and our room was truly spectacular. Quiet little spot on the river, yet walkable to town and some great spots to eat and drink very close by. The restaurant at the hotel is hard to stay away from. Lovely!!!

Fantastic service, beautiful property. On site restaurant is excellent. Highly recommend. Thirty five minute walk along Arno to city Center, or they offer a free shuttle at certain times. The walk is beautiful.

We loved this hotel! There were three of us (2 adults and 1 teenager), and our room was huge by European standards. The room came well appointed with comfortable beds, plenty of outlets, robes, slippers, and a minibar. The hotel has a free shuttle into town and back. This was so convenient after a long day of walking and shopping. Our favorite was the spa. It is free to use and has an indoor pool, sauna, steam room, showers, lockers, flip-flops, and a fun heated bench. That was heavenly after a long day of sightseeing. You reserve a time (it was never a problem) so the pool area is never crowded. The breakfast was a bit overpriced but still convenient. We would stay here again in a heartbeat.

We are on a 12 day Italy vacation and this has been our favorite hotel so far. It’s quiet a little off the beaten path but still walkable to everything. The amenities are wonderful and we had the best breakfast in the cutest restaurant every morning.

The rooms were beautifully appointed, spacious and set in a quiet little space on the river Arno. The staff was pleasant, friendly and very helpful. I broke, what i thought was a specially made glass for the bathroom and within hours they had a replacement, tellibg me not to worry.
