Andrea the concierge was a gem. Always patient and helpful with whatever question we had. The location is close to anything you could want from shopping, dining and historical things to see. The rooms are very spacious, much bigger than anything I’ve ever stayed in Europe. The included breakfast was amazing. We would stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone.

This hotel was extremely charming and in the most beautiful location. Room was spacious, and the paintings and carvings on the ceiling were extraordinary. Bathroom was large and clean and quite comfortable. The women in the Reception area was friendly and courteous and extremely helpful. Food was delicious at breakfast. Highly recommend this beautiful spot for your stay in Florence. It is in the Perfect area.!! I can't wait to go back.

Beautiful rooms. We were not advised beforehand that the property is undergoing a renovation! The views are covered with outdoor draping! Also, we were not told that you have to find an entry bell around all the construction to gain entry to the property upon arrival-very confusing!

The suites were beautiful in a historic building. It was a central location which made it easy to walk to any area of the city. Once we figured out how to get into the building (there was construction and the buzzer was not easily visible) we loved our stay.

Centrally located. Friendly staff. Spacious room. The bathroom needed some repairs. The area in front of the hotel was undergoing road construction, and the building was surrounded by scaffolding.

We love our stay at Leone Blu Suites. The location is awesome and closed to everything, easy walk from train station. Most of all, the view of River Amos is just unbeatable. Upon arrival, the reception was great, attentive and efficient. We are a family of four, the loft suite was roomy, great decor, big windows opened to river view and plenty of privacy. The breakfast was good too. We were surprised given the central location, it wasn't noisy at night.

Could be better...
The hotel has a privileged location with fantastic views, but our stay was not very good for the following reasons: We stayed in the "Pandolfo" suite and the wooden windows do not adjust well and let the noise and cold from the street through. In the bathroom, the extractor communicates with the street and that is why noise and very cold comes in. On the second day, when we arrived at the room, it was tidy and left the empty bottles, used coffee and glass cups on the counter. They also did not replace the used complimentary coffees. It's a shame because for small details the stay that could have been fantastic was less good.

Wonderful place, wonderful staff, fantastic room.
I wanted a memorable hotel stay while in Florence and I definitely found it at the Leone Blu. While it is listed as only a 2 star hotel, I have stayed at 5 star hotels that were not as comfortable or friendly. Andrea, at the front desk, was extremely amenable. Even during Covid, the staff was there whenever we needed something while still keeping social distancing. We booked the best room at the hotel which was in line price wise with the cheapest rooms at the 5-star hotels. The room was two stories with large airy spaces, including a childrens room with two twin beds that we did not use. All this within easy walking distance to all the major sites. Will stay here again when back in Florence.

Can't beat the view or the breakfast!
My mom and I had a wonderful stay! I couldnt shut up about the view and she couldnt shut up about the breakfast. Everyone was SO accomodating and willing to help with every request. Only confusing part was figuring out how to get in the first time. Would stay again 100%.

Got a nice and big room. In the description it said they had noise insulation but that is not the case. Traffic noise is significant for light sleepers (less sensitive people don’t feel it). Very centric location yet easily accessible by taxi from/to airport.

There is no sign to tell you where to find theReception desk once you arrived in the lobby, the lobby is a empty grand room. There is no front desk after 10 pm you need to swipe the key card otherwise you won't be able to Pass the main gate/ door which is locked after 10pm. The room with a river view is also facing a main traffic street, the windows are single layer old window, you can hear the cars and motorcycle passes by very often, good luck if you are a light sleeper.

Large Apartment Style Hotel
Booked Leone Blu Suites for a recent trip to Florence. The room size is very big, even had a walk in closet. The whole vibe of the place is more of an apartment rental, which we liked. Location was fantastic for main tourist spots or crossing the river to a quieter side of Florence. The people who worked there were very friendly. Would stay again.

The property manager Silvia was very kind and informative. She made time to show us places to see on a map and gave a tour with of the palace along with history of the family that still owned the property. She also gave great dinner recommendations and made reservations for us. We felt so well taken care of.
