The only thing this property has going for it is that it's close to the Duomo. The photos of the rooms are not reflective of the rooms you will ACTUALLY get. They are worse. Our room had a mosquito infestation, I killed a total of 8 mosquitos during our stay. Every morning I would wake up with bug bites – our windows were closed and it was November during our visit, cold enough for mosquitos to be dead. I was scared to sleep at night because of the bugs. The reception is always in your business. Spend your money at other nice properties in the same area – there are lots to choose from.

Great stay!
Excellent location, right in the heart of Florence (steps away from Il Duomo. Fantastically comfortable bed. Really clean. Kitchenette was great (could do with some more cutlery!). Shower was amazing! Would highly recommend.

It was a poor stay. I wouldn’t stay again. Upon check in after the allowed time, we got our keys and had to wait outside the room for the lady to finish cleaning. Poor communication, I felt bad that we rushed her but the front desk should be communicating and knowing which rooms are clean and are not… the room itself was okay. The location was great, only plus, except the street is very very very noisy at all hours of he night. It was hard to get a good nights rest. The rooms did not feel very clean. Pros: The staff at the front desk was friendly and the location was good, nice central downtown area and it was a good price.

Dear Michelle , thank you for your review! we would like to point out that you arrived at 11.00 am leaving your luggage in the storage room. You have been advised to return after 2.30pm , as specified on Expedia. Obviously you have omitted to specify that you returned before the check-in time not as specified in the review at the exact time. Surely, for the future, following this review we will respect the check-in times from 2.30 pm onwards, so as to avoid complains. We take the liberty of suggest you to respect the times indicated for check-in and check-out from the various bed & breakfast and Hotels. Fortunately, after these closures due to Covid pandemic, the city center is back to life, but for street artists there is nothing to do. Florence is a city of art and music. Next time, respect the check-in time so we can perfectly clean the room, without to be pressed (even if your statement seems exaggerated to us). We are sorry to know that the stay was poor, because, next to us there is an hostel with rooms with shared bathroom or even shared beds at the same price of 50.00 euros that you spent with us. All the best!!!

Booked (1) queen city view room. Mattress is not queen; instead, two small twins connected with each other. The room smells like a public toilet—huge issue the sewers! The receptionist was rude; if you do not like the room you can leave! Noisy street “City View” with a guitar music and two (2) speakers. Grossly misadvertised!

I inform you that the assigned room was the right one. When booking, we always recommend looking at all the photos, in the photo gallery, of the type of room you book. And, of course, read all descriptions carefully and thoroughly. So for your mistakes you don't have to attack your neighbor. It would have been nice for you to have a Suite with a frescoed ceiling for 60.00 euros. In fact, we probably would have given it to him even if he had spoken politely to the receptionist. Your attitude was aggressive, vulgar and threatening, even screaming in the face of the colleague. Obviously, following this attitude, he was asked to leave the facility otherwise we would have had to call the police. We remind you that you have booked in Florence, city of art and music, so don't blame the street artists, we are in democracy. We also want to point out that the way you left the room is disgusting to say the least! And you left without paying the 4.00 euro tourist tax, next time we will lend it to you! Luckily not all guests are like you !! you are a rare species and you should travel less, apart from a horrible stay you are a horrible person!

Was centrally located. 2 blocks from the Duomo. Small but clean. Check in time was 2:30. Couldn’t get in until after 3:00. I’d stay here again, knowing that trying to get into your room early or even on time is a pipe dream.

The location of this hotel is absolutely ideal for walking to the major Florence sights. Our room was on the small side but adequate for our needs and it was very quiet. The major problem was the mold and/or mildew under the shower and at the window.

Amazing location and hotel! We thoroughly enjoyed our time in Florence and staying here. Location was amazing and close to all the sites, train station and restaurants! Rooms were clean, large and amazing and the beds were so comfortable. There is not one bad thing I can say about this hotel and the staff, overall it was truly an amazing experience and i will return to this hotel.

The room was not really clean for the first night, dust was very obvious on the TV remote controller and nobody cleaned it after the first night. However, it was cleaned after the 2nd night. Toiletries were not replenished in time, have to ask the staff for it. The front desk staff was very helpful and efficient - helped us to book day tour within minutes.

Great location with the Dino at view and Eataly store underneath. Absolutely great service and quiet premises. Just the glass door needed to be replaced as it is cracked and it could be very dangerous. I would recommend it 100% Laura Segovia

PREPARE TO BE DISAPPOINTED IF YOU DARE TO STAY HERE! We paid for a room with “City View”. It looked down to an ugly, filthy roof of a supermarket, completely encased within the four buildings. When we questioned it, we were rudely told we could see a bit of the top of the Duomo dome (their definition of a city view!!), and we should read the information more carefully next time! The picture is misleading. The view is absolutely hideous!!! The guy at reception was rude and unhelpful. The room advertises Satellite TV, but there are barely any channels in English. If you like Nat Geo or anything good, you won’t get it here. We complained and came back from a walk to find a man in our room, trying to fix the channels. He gave up and we never heard from them again. Luckily we thought to turn the TV off and on again from the wall. We got a couple of channels working. A maid walked in when the Do Not Disturb sign was on the door!!! The elevator is so slow it’s quicker to take the stairs. You can hear people walking around upstairs. The central location is the only sell point, but there are heaps of other places in the area, which is expensive, smelly and busy.

The room was extremely small with a big pillar in the center. Shower was very small too. No maid service in four days. Same breakfast items everyday. Will not recommend this hotel for anyone.The worst part

Dear Mr. Qamar, maybe you're confusing yourself with another hotel. Here you staid in a Superior Room (that absolutely is not "extremely small") and the shower of that room is very big and can accommodate two people. I know that could be just a point of view but... we haven't rooms with pillars! So, I gaze that maybe it was another hotel. Kind Regards, Alberto

We stayed in a deluxe suite 102 which had a kitchen area separate from the bedroom and separate bathroom, which was actually quite big (unlike most places in Europe). It was nice to have plenty of room to put all your suitcases, and we were able buy some things to put in the refrigerator and not always go down for breakfast, which we did not try at the hotel. The bed was a large king, which was great! We had an interior room, which had no view out the window, but it was quiet at night. You are half a block at most to the Duomo, so location is perfect and we walked everywhere!! Our only negative is our room was located between floors that the elevator did not reach, so we had to carry our luggage up some steps to get to elevator. The staff was friendly and helpful if needed. I found the price reasonable, as our friends stayed a 5 minute walk away for more than double the price, for an upscale hotel with really tiny rooms and no view! I would stay again, just for the space and location!!

Loved this place wish we could of stayed longer. It was in the perfect location very close to town shopping and close to train station. Everything very clean and nice size room and bathroom. Room didn’t have a view but we loved the location.
