Very nice staff. No hotel staff after 8 pm. I felt a little weird since there was no one around in the evening and I seemed to be alone in the place

We loved the Terrace, we had a beautiful view of historical buildings, the sounds of the church bell .everything was clean, thanks to Stophan and his staff. We most definitely will be back Sandro and Salisha Peca

We traveling all around Italy and this was the BEST place we stayed. The room was huge, the service was great, location was great also. The terrace was AMAZING. Breakfast included and had every morning on terrace. Stop searching and book this place. You won't be sorry.

The staff are great, family owned. Two floors up via lift so very quiet, but conveniently near train which was helpful, and only a short walk to many sites. Elena was incredibly sweet and helpful, particularly with regard to making my way to the countryside after my brief visit to Florence. Her brother was very nice too and told me some interesting things about the olive groves in Italy. Nice breakfast on the terrace with a wonderful view. I recommend and would stay again.

We loved our stay at Relais Luce Florence! Near the train station. Friendly, knowledgeable staff. Beautiful, clean, spacious room. Great shower! Breakfast on the terrace overlooking the city was a highlight. When we needed to leave early our last morning, the hotel arranged to give us a breakfast tray the night before. We'd stay there again.

This was the perfect place to stay in Firenze! The view from the terrace is truly breathtaking. My husband and I had the best time and appreciated Stefano and Maddalena’s kindness and help during our stay. We cannot recommend this place enough!

Great location! Room had everything we needed. There is a shared terrace that has beautiful views. The main negative point for us was having trouble with no he key getting back into our room. We could not get it open, and when we tried to call the emergency staff- no one answered! No one ever got back to us about our trouble actually. We eventually got in ourselves after many attempts at jiggling the key. My recommendation would be to always bring the physical key AND card with you, so you don’t have this problem.

A hidden gem with an amazing view!
Absolutely loved this place, it’s truly a hidden gem. No more than a couple of minutes from the tram and right out the door all of the highlights of Florence are within walking distance. The staff were amazing and provided excellent communication, directions and instruction. Now for the best part, the terrace is absolutely beautiful. Not only is it amazing to see at night but having breakfast each day on the terrace while the bells rang was next level. Thank you!!

A little hard to find as there are no big signs, but I was sent some photos of the outside and the keypad, which was very helpful! Be forewarned that the elevator is very small and if you choose the stairs, it’s a long climb! Rooms are lovely, with cool recessed color changing lights at the ceiling!

Cozy nest with great view
Surprisingly nice in the center of the action a couple of blocks from the train station. Great breakfast on the panoramic terrace and the staff couldn't be more helpful. Would definitely recommend.

The property is a gem, the hosts are excellent, the location is unbeatable and on top of that they have a wonderful terrace for breakfast and we watched the San Giovanni fireworks from there and it was beautiful!

The room was delightful. I understand that our room may have been upgraded to the one that had a balcony and overlooked the Duomo. Evenings out there with the magic of city lights and local wine were lovely. Excellent proximity to Mercato Centrale, Termini and great walking to the top tourist spots.

Hidden Gem
This hotel is a hidden gem! Close to the train station but also to the main shopping area. Our room was spacious and the ceiling was an unreal surprise as it went about 15ft high. We also had a shared terrace at the hotel overlooking the entire town. There are only 6 rooms here so it’s quiet and peaceful. I would highly recommend this spot. The breakfast is average but everything else was beyond our expectations.

The location is perfect! Close to all the main attractions, shopping areas, and good restaurants in Florence. The Hotel itself is super cute and modern inside. We really liked our room; it was comfortable and very clean. The breakfast was good, and the outdoor patio is definitely a plus. The staff is very helpful. Special thanks to Elena who received us and was such a sweetheart. Our stay was amazing, and we had such a great time in Florence!

Location is great, a short walk from train station and principal sites and attractions. The room is very clean, with spacious bathroom, and quite setting. The staff is very helpful in case you have questions or request.

The staff was lovely, the rooms were darling and updated, and the location was spectacular! I highly recommend this hotel. I am a single woman, who traveled alone; I felt safe, and taken care of here. I was referred to an amazing cooking class, other tours, and restaurants that were all fabulous.

Behind the unremarkable street entrance (which looks like an old private house) there is a hidden gem! I loved my two days in Relais Luce. Comfortable modern room and professional and friendly service. Worth to mention the terrace with view over Cappelle Medicee and the Giotto bell tower.

Hard to find because it’s a big wooden door off the street. Then you go up an elevator. But location is good. Clean. Room was big. Roof top was very nice. Would stay here again.
