About this property

Orange house with large park and swimming pool.

  • The holiday home is located in a residence surrounded by a large park with lawn, (20000 sq m), there are many trees and shrubs.
    For shared use, the following are available: internet (WLAN), children's playground, deck chair, barbecue facilities, washing machine and camping cot if required. The outdoor swimming pool is for common use (salt water, 7 m x 15 m, 1.20 m depth). The swimming pool can be used from June until the first weeks of October, inside there are 4 sunbeds with hydromassage, you will find walking bicycles, a tennis and soccer field and a relaxing pond with fish and waterfall. Parking for cars is on the property.
    The apartment is about 55 square meters with living room, 2 bedrooms both with double bed, kitchenette in the living room with oven, and fridge (freezer) and a bathroom, excellent for 4 people, air conditioning.
    We are close to Syracuse in the Contrada Muraglia di Mele, a few kilometers from most of the most beautiful seaside resorts in the province, very close to the Pantalica nature reserve and the Anapo Valley. The house is modern and newly built, is located in a small residence with three other villas (holiday homes), a very quiet and sunny place. Access takes place from the main road (asphalted).
    Market about 900 m. Restaurant and Pizzeria 900 m. Syracuse 12 km.

Spacious apartment

The apartment is spacious and has a lovely shared pool area, which is used by other guests and the owner’s family. The owner was very responsive to messages and kindly allowed us to check in early, which we really appreciated. Any issues we had during our stay were promptly dealt with. Although there is air conditioning in the apartment it is only in the lounge/kitchen area and not the bedrooms, however we asked for a fan which was provided for us and was helpful. The apartment was not as well equipped as others we stayed at during our holiday and was lacking in some essential provisions e.g. there’s a dishwasher but no tablets were provided and only one toilet roll was provided for a 6 night stay. Location wise it is around 15 minutes to Syracusa, which is a beautiful city. There are a number of supermarkets within around 5 minutes by car from the apartment and it took c. 45 minutes by car from Catania airport.

Wir hatten einen insgesamt guten Aufenthalt dort. Check-in problemlos. Genug Platz für vier Personen. Eigentümer nett. Küchenausstattung OK, Holzkohlegrill auf der Terasse nutzbar. Gemeinschaftspool sehr schön. Keine Klimaanlagen in den beiden Schlafzimmern war nicht so schön, schlecht runterzukühlen.

De tuin en het zwembad zijn prachtig!! Zeker als het avond is, is het allemaal mooi verlicht. Onze zoon vond het voetbal veld leuk. Het huisje is basic maar je hebt alles wat je nodig hebt. Helaas geen airco in de slaapkamers, enkel in de living, hierdoor was het warm om te slapen. De eigenaars wonen ook op het domein, naast de vakantiewoning. Met hen is er weinig contact. We werden ontvangen de eerste dag door een oudere man die eveneens op het domein woont en die heel vriendelijk en hartelijk is. We hadden graag een bbq gebruikt en hij bracht dit heel snel in orde voor ons! Top! We hadden bij aankomst geen wifi code gekregen, het zou handig zijn mocht dit in het huisje op een kaartje of blaadje geschreven staan. Er loopt een vriendelijke hond op het domein die graag in de buurt van de vakantiewoning ligt. Hij is niet storend en blaft niet.

Florida in Floridia

Wir waren als Familie mit zwei Teenagern (17 und 14 Jahre) im heißen Juli 2021 in der gepflegte Ferienanlage mit einem außergewöhnlichen und sehr schönem Pool. Die Wohnung mit zwei Schlafzimmern und wunderschönem Blick direkt auf den Pool ist ausreichend groß für uns gewesen. Der Anblick der Anlage und des Pools vermittelt Floridafeeling. Die Anlage ist am Abend auch toll beleuchtet. Alles war sehr sauber. Leider ist die Küchenausstattung nur sehr rudimentär. Ein paar mehr Tassen, Gläser, Töpfe, Bretter etc. wären schön gewesen. Wir hatten das Glück, dass die Anlage während unseres Aufenthalts leer und die Vermieter abwesend waren, so dass wir wirklich alles, insbesondere den Pool komplett für uns allein hatten. Sofern jedoch alle vier Wohnungen vermietet und die Vermieter anwesend sind, liegt das Apartment ungünstig, wenn man seine Ruhe haben und unbeobachtet sein will. Der Poolaufgang ist direkt vor dem Apartmenteingang und der Pool liegt direkt vor dem Wohnzimmer/Küchenbereich, so dass der Trubel dann deutlich spürbar sein dürfte. Auch ist ein Schlafzimmerfenster des Nachbarapartments direkt auf den privaten Terrassen-Essplatzbereich ausgerichtet. Wen das aber alles nicht stört, der findet eine traumhafte Anlage zum Erholen. Die Kommunikation erfolgt als Nichtitaliener über den Sohn Matteo. Er kann hervorragend englisch. Danke dir Matteo für dein „Immer-zur-Verfügung-stehen“ und auch danke an Guiseppe, wir hatten eine tolle und erholsame Zeit!
