"Wonderful location on a secluded island in the centre of Stockholm. It is about a 15 minute walk to Gamla Stan.
The hotel is a historic building in which great care has been taken with the design inside and out. We loved the gardens and it was wonderful to sit outside on the terrace to have breakfast in the glorious summer sunshine. The breakfast was very good- freshly prepared with quality ingredients. "We loved the hotel. Our dinner, however , was disappointing. We had to do everything short of fetching and preparing our food. From requesting menus, the check, bread, and having food eventually brought over that had clearly been sitting in the window as it was mildly warm when we finally got it, that was the only downfall.
