We booked a room overlooking the canal and it was amazing. It was nice to sit outside and just watch the gondolas pass by during the day and is so quiet and peaceful at night. This place is close everything. You will find great food both left and right of the hotel doors. The duomo piazza is less than 5 mins. The ferris are about 5 - 7 mins away depending which one you need.
