About this property

Romantic, cozy cottage nestled amongst live oaks & palms, a block from beach.

  • This Four Room Cottage is set in a Magical Canopy of Live Oak and Magnolia Trees just one street back from the Ocean with easy Beach access.

    The romantic and newly redecorated cottage has one Queen Bed; a Full Bath; Living/Kitchen combination; and a Sun Room.

    After a day of Surf and Sun you'll return to rinse off in the Outdoor Shower, relax with a drink or meal on the large shaded Deck or lounge in the Hammock and enjoying a unique Island Experience.

    A comfortable (yes, really) air mattress is available upon request to sleep a third person if desired. It automatically inflates/deflates so it’s easy to use. We provide extra linens, pillows, & bedding as well.

Had a great 3 night stay at this quaint little cottage! Wonderful location for exploring Charleston without staying in the city. Nice and quiet place with awesome walks on the beach right there!! Folly Beach has cool little shops and great food!!

Amazing weekend getaway

Found this beautiful property on folly island. Even tho it's a smaller property like all the properties there there's a lot more trees around, making it feel very cozy and private. Me and my now fiance had an amazing time staying here. Personally I love the sun room

We loved wee rest! It's small, but still bigger than a hotel suite and offers so much more character and comfort than any hotel. The deck is incredible and a great outdoor social space.

Wonderful getaway spot

Super cute and perfect for a weekend getaway. The house is very private and a block from a public beach access. We loved the huge porch to hang out on and the outdoor shower was fantastic! Tim was very kind and responsive.

Great Stay!

Perfect for our mother daughter getaway! So close to the beach it is practically in your backyard. The cottage is small, adorable and charming. The deck and outdoor shower were super nice. We recommend renting a golf cart for easy trips to center street. The owner was very responsive and helpful. We would stay here again!

Wee Cottage is a great Cottage

Perfect place to stay for my spouse and I while visiting student at MUSC. Folley Beach is a special area. Wee Cottage is a block from the beach and a short 20 minute drive to downtown Charleston. Host was very welcoming and quick to answer any questions. Easy self-check in but always felt like I could reach Tim if needed. We will absolutely be back.

Magical Folly getaway!!

We loved the cozy little cottage among the trees! The big Live Oak, Palm, and Magnolias provided wonderful shade. The cottage was cute and had everything we needed. And most of all we appreciated the owner allowing us to bring our little dog, Simon. Thank you again, Leslie, David and Simon!

Fabulous Shady Oasis steps from the Beach

Second visit to the Wee Nest. Charming cottage on magnolia and oak double lot. Walkable to the shops and restaurants but quiet and peaceful. One block from the beach-lovely outdoor deck, sunroom reading nook and caring responsive owner. We will return !

The Wee Cottage

The cottage is as relaxing as it can be. We sat on deck in the morning and watched the parade of folks going to the beach through the trees. It’s a quick trip … 8 blocks to center st. I recommend the cottage for a weekend away with no worries!

Great Homebase

This is not a fancy place, clean and mostly comfortable, but in need of some small updates and upgrades, like the bed pillows, linens, and the furniture layout. Location is excellent, and the breakfast nook area was awesome. Felt like I was in a treehouse, and it was my favorite place in the mornings. Lot is beautiful, and the patio is amazing.

Beach Bungalow - great location

This tiny house is very private and located a five minute walk to the beach and 15 min walk to shops and restaurants. The space itself is fine for a couple but the house needs much work. It has so much potential to be a great little place but currently is quite run down. As another guest mentioned it needs maintenance and TLC.
