"Stunning villa with everything we needed and superb views. Everything worked and we had all we need to include a baby. The washing line needs repair. It would have been helpful to be given advice that it is quite intimidating driving up to the villa from Bagni di Lucca, and that we should only rent a very small vehicle. The Australians and Americans in our group really struggled with the road and the access to the villa itself. "

We breakfasted to the song of blackcaps with bee eaters, hoopoes and buzzards glimpsed in flight. We felt very close to wildlife. The best pool we have ever swumIn. Clear mountain air. Delightful Barga and other villages nearby. Good places to eat within 10 minites drive. Lovely hosts, nearby if we had a problem but discrete.
