"We had a lovely stay here. Our room was clean and spacious with an amazing view. Dinner and breakfast were good and the staff were friendly. The hotel is a little tired in places but it is to be expected for it's age and size and didn't detract from our stay at all. The main areas were all great. Thank you!"

"It was a beautiful room only drawback was 3rd floor being 82 &84 not as easy I think there were only a couple of rooms up there but worth it for such a lovely room. It was easy to park in street but would of preferred private car park but it was a nice quiet area, we didn’t use the bar but it looked nice if we’d been there longer I would of gone and sat in there, staff helped take our bags up to our room very helpful. 👍"

"We arrived at Teal Cottage and were so pleasantly surprised with the cottage & the outlook also the private drive and surroundings Andrew popped round to make sure everything was perfect also welcomed us to his stunning cottage we had the most relaxed 2 weeks in the cottage and the location was absolutely spot on Andrew thank you for Allowing us to spend time in your Amazing cottage also the cottage is so very well appointed and has everything you’ll need and we will definitely be back also anyone looking for rest recuperation and just to chill read a book or explore the beautiful Argyle secret Coast then make Teal cottage & Andrews cottages your first choice we weren’t Disappointed and I know you won’t be either"
Shelduck Cottage, shoreline location, pet friendly, sleeps 7

"Spent a very enjoyable August week at Shellduck. We were a three-generation family group of six people, and the cottage could have ben designed for us: a comfortable double or twin room for each generation. There is also a sofa bed, so you could get 7 or 8 in there if you could stand each other! The comfortable kitchen table and the L-shaped sitting room allowed many family conversations, and we threw a party with 17 guests one afternoon no problem: we took advantage of the honesty-box venison steaks and the barbecue for this, too. Shellduck is not your IKEA-furnished, sterile Air B&B: It has character, and the furniture is a mixture of heirlooms and new that we all found very comfortable. Please don't change anything! The first floor has lovely views over the loch, and the place is quiet at night, with only the occasional car passing by. We genuinely hope to book Shellduck again!"

"We arrived sun 1st of Sept to this beautiful cottage. The weather was not that good but the place was vey picturesque. Martin the owner came to say hello and offer any assistance we would need . The cottage was immaculate with all the amenities necessary. We had our small dog with us and you could walk down to the sea in about 5mins with some amazing views.There were plenty of places to eat out if you wanted. And a Morrisons and co op if you wanted to eat in. Also a good choice of takeaway nearby. The cottage itinerary had all info you need to find what you wanted. The cottage had a very secure small garden for the dog. There are some beautiful places to visit in and around Dunoon unfortunately my wife had just had a foot operation so we could not do as much as we would have liked. but there is all ways next year. we would like to take the opportunity to thank Martin and Carol for the welcome gifts, and would be more than happy to highly recommend this cottage to anybody"

"The cottage was beautiful inside and out,log fire was amazing, the owner (Callum) was helpful and friendly,it was so good we stayed another week,pets loved it,so tranquil a great place for relaxing getaway,views amazing take our breath away,nothing bad to say about port-an-eillean."
