"My husband and I had never been to the thumb region of Michigan and decided to spend a long weekend exploring. We chose to stay in this really delightful house in Port Sanilac, and it was great! The property is attractive, comfortable, and right on Lake Huron, and we walked to shops, restaurants, the harbor, and the farmers' market. Excellent experience all around and we highly recommend it!"

"The house is a nice house with a very comfy couch in a great neighborhood close to everything! The issues we encountered were the side walk from the drive to the front porch has many trip hazards and is broken up, the wood front porch was slippery when rained on, we found a few ants wandering around inside the house and check out time would be nice to at 11 instead of 10 because we feel rushed with the check out process. We would definitely stay here again and enjoyed our stay!"

"We visited with 5 families and the property was the perfect fit for our needs. It was very clean and the amenities are endless. There is so much room both inside and outside, a spacious commercial kitchen to prepare food, plenty of fridge space, grills outside, a fire pit and plenty of TV's for your family to watch football. ;) Our adult kids enjoyed the basketball, pickle ball and volleyball courts in addition to the kayaks. There is a ton of space for other outdoor games, but plenty of room to...

"Was a quaint and good time"

"Overall, we had a great stay in this house. The bedrooms are a good size and the beds were very firm. The kitchen had everything we needed if we had decided to cook but we chose to eat out both nights. The Stone Lodge (restaurant/bar) is right next door and there are a couple other bars/restaurants within walking distance. We'd definitely stay again if we go back to this area."

"the location is quiet and very peaceful. everything you need for cooking is there. I didn’t mention i am very sensitive to aromas so thats on me, most people would have loved the smells emanating from the bath salts bags scattered throughout the house. if they would have even noticed. a lovely home in a quiet small neighborhood."

"Mike and Marsha are AMAZING hosts! The house was spotless and has so many amenities! Private beach with tons of chairs, kayaks and fire pit. Wonderful deck overlooking the lake, room for the whole family for meals inside and out. Nice grill on the deck connected to the house. The kitchen is beautiful, has a huge island and is stocked with everything you need. Tons of extra pillows, blankets and sheets. Beds are very comfy! 4 beds in the bunkhouse with AC, such a great bonus space. The living...
