"This was a great and affordable cabin and it was in an awesome, quiet area just south of the caringorms national Park. The owner is a real gentleman and the tavern he runs has amazing steak pies. Would stay again "

"Extremely peaceful, quiet and relaxing. Accommodation spotless, comfortable and cosy. Everything you have at home was available in the chalet, including extra tea/coffee, sugar and a carton of milk. Nothing left to chance and the small touches - like a gift of two mugs, pens and stationery - greatly appreciated. Hosts very communicative and kept in touch throughout our stay.

"Great place, friendly and helpful hosts. So close to beautiful glens, lovely Glamis castle, nice to pop by JM Barrie's birthplace and a wonderful stay on the farm. Hot tub, woodburning stove and a BBQ. Perfect cosy wee stay!"

"Room was clean and tidy and the staff were very helpful. The food in the restaurant was lovely.
What wasn't good was the racket from other resident drinking and socialising outside the hotel beneath our room . It was noisy till very late on Thursday evening and worse on Friday evening/Saturday morning when the disturbance continued beyound 12.30am.
When we stay there again, and we will, we shall be making sure our room is in a quieter part of the hotel."

"Arrived after 10. No where to get a drink nor a snack.
Staff very unhelpful in regards to even getting bottled water.
Even though there was a vending machine within the pool area
Sofa bed very uncomfortable
Have stayed previously a few years ago which was definitely a better standard
But will not rush back"
"Not great! Looks like a hotel that hasn’t been upgraded since the 70’s.
I had to sleep with my duvet wrapped around me so that I didn’t feel the springs in the mattress.
I will say that the two members of staff I came across were excellent, really pleasant, cheery and helpful."
"The hotel itself is very nice, clean and well done. When we checked in, there was an issue with the a/c unit and instead of giving us a room that had a working ac, we found out the entire 2nd floor was without ac. We checked in late and they could've put us on a different floor but I think miscommunication with staff made the problems worse. No fans were avail either so we spent the night drenched in sweat.
Breakfast was free and was excellent, laundry facilities were excellent, Parking however IS an issue at this place. Keep in mind everything closes early so trying to get a meal at a restaurant after 8 pm is not possible. We stayed two nights, spoke to the manager about the issues and they gave us 10,000 points to our membership with a written apology explaining the situation which I appreciated.
Hotel needs to do a better job of informing front desk staff on issues so they know what to tell us when theres a problem. Not kept us waiting for over 2 hours to find out no fans were available. Nor was it a good idea to tell us to park in a handicap spot and then call us late at night to move the car. Proper communication is necessary for any hospitality operation to work"
"Rooms are old dirty and outdated. Bathroom is full of mold. Doors have huge gaps to hallways. Walls are paper thin, was woken up constantly. Do not stay here!"
