Only about a 10 minute walk from train station and most places walkable but also lots of buses if you want to explore. "The decor of the cottage was stunning. Beds were comfortable and the kitchen was well equipped. Location was also really good very near the beach, park, shops and cafes etc. Parking was easy right outside. I would definitely stay here again. We enjoyed lovely walks along the promenade. A few minor tweaks needed to make this a top class stay. Hairdryer and remote control not working correctly - both need replaced. Sofa was not very comfortable cushions were flat and worn. Light/ torch...

"Impressive very spacious, comfortable house pretty much as described set in a large garden.9 adults and 3 children but we all found plenty of space to interact without getting in each others way . Hotub proved to be a good source of relaxation after a long day .Plenty of places easily reached nearby for daytime walks. Local pub , the Strathy Inn and Bankfoot Inn were both good choices for meals ."

"Great apartment style hotel in a great location! We really enjoyed our stay here and wouldn't hesitate to book again. All staff extremely pleasant and helpful. The suite was spotlessly clean. Well equipped kitchenette (although we didn't really use it). A super breakfast is included in your room price and I have to say it was lovely. Cannot fault our stay in any way! "

"Rooms were brilliant. This hotel was an old Jute mill and the room reflected that with some original features mixed with modern facilities. Rooms were spacious and had everything you need. Coffe machine and pods .. fridge with complimentary water was a nice touch. Breakfast was good .. buffet style and had decent selection. Only negatve with breakfast was that there was no haggis. Rest of hotel was reslly well pesented although had to queue for 20 mins at reception to check in but that more because there was a festival on and place was busy. Car parking was there but small and all spaces filled .. had to park in close by council car park so not a major issue."

"Great hotel with fantastic staff and beautiful grounds. Decor is fab but carpets a little tired which hardly detracts from the "niceness" of everything. The bath and shower are absolutely superb! Didn't like the pay to park which was not mentioned in the Expedia listing - but the staff, ever helpful, comped me on the parking which was a brilliant bit of extra service. Food in the on-site restaurant is delicious and a well thought out varied menu to suit all appetites and tastes. Beware the Inca cocktail - it is absolutely lethal and far too refreshing. Luckily it wasn't far to crawl "home". As a solo female traveller, I was made to feel welcome, treated so well, and felt safe and happy for my whole 4 day stay. I will definitely be back to the Landmark for all my Dundee visits which will be frequent."
