The property has undergone complete transformation in recent years and has been sympathetically refurbished and extensively modernised to create a large, versatile family home with many eye-catching, charming features including beautiful high ceilings, original woodwork, bespoke radiators, wood burning stoves and much more.
On the ground floor, an entrance porch leads into a very welcoming reception hall with a large wooden staircase leading to the upper level. The elegant lounge features an eye-catching bay window and inset wood burning stove. Adjacent to the lounge is a spacious family/sitting room with further bay window and stove. The dining kitchen is fitted with a contemporary range of base and wall units and centre island with appliances including integrated fridge-freezer, dishwasher, induction hob with extractor unit and oven/grill. The generous proportions of the room also provide space for table and chairs. To the rear of the kitchen is a small hallway giving access to a utility room. Also located on the ground floor is a dining room and cloakroom toilet fitted with WC and wash-hand basin.
On the first floor there is a large open landing giving access to 4 double bedrooms, 1 single, 1 bunk and 2 beds in the attic games room, a stylish shower room and family bathroom fitted with WC, wash-hand basin, roll top bath and separate shower cubicle. The top floor comprises of a large versatile room which is currently used as a generous children’s bedroom/play room/lounge.
Externally the property sits centrally within the generous garden grounds which provide a good degree of privacy and consists of large sections of lawn, a large patio area, and a spacious summer house.
