Superb lake view! Pretty house ideally located, decor, comfort, garden

6 people ideal but possibility up to 8 people if necessary because we have two very comfortable sofa beds in the living room.

La Maison du Lac 1, located in the heart of the Normande tourist resort opposite the Grand Casino and 500 m from the town and its shops, is classified 3 stars and labeled Famille Plus.
Established in the middle of a garden of 1100 m² facing south-west without vis-à-vis, in a natural and remarkable environment, it enjoys a superb view and direct access to the Andelle lake.
You will find upscale comfort and contemporary decor: large living room, bar, fitted and equipped kitchen, 2 bedrooms, 1 with sink, bathroom with double sink and bath, WC, wood-burning fireplace.
You will be able to appreciate two terraces which overhang the lake: a terrace close to the house and a sheltered terrace that we have fitted out: this covered south-facing covered terrace, all of wood clad, allows you to comfortably enjoy a rare proximity to the lake and its birds sheltered from wind, sun or downpour.
500 meters from the traditional Norman village, the house offers an idyllic and relaxing setting, giving the opportunity for multiple walks between lake and forest, barbecue, fishing trips at the end of the garden, fitness trail, bike rides on the Green Avenue and why not… evening at the casino and relaxation session at the SPA of the Domaine de Forges.
All without a car: activities, shopping, restaurants are less than 1 km away.
The rental of bicycles (left at home on request) is a real plus for outings.
You will have a closed and secure bike room.
The House is labeled FAMILLE PLUS (particularly suitable for welcoming very young holidaymakers from 0 to 99 years old)
The house is ideally located in the heart of the tourist resort and 3 km from Serqueux train station, we offer the "all without a car": travel by train from Paris (2 hour journey via Rouen or Gisors), from Lille (2 hours 15 mins live).
We welcome you at the station, the transfer to the house is free.

Delightful stay in an adorable town

Martine was so friendly and helpful. The location of the house was perfect for our exploration of the Normandy area, and we were so happy to have the house on the lake as our home away from home.

we stayed for a 5 days, just the two of us and our two Ridgebacks. We had a lovely stay, plenty walks around the village. The garden was great, although the dogs have not been able to stay in the garden, the fence was way to short for them.

Fantastic holiday ever!!!

Fantastic house, town, holiday ever! Martine's house has direct access to the lake walks, we enjoyed watching ducks, swans, otters on morning walks. Beautiful and comfortable property with well equipped kitchen and large sitting room with fireplace where we used to spend each evening. But the best is huge, very private garden our large dogs enjoyed the most and we as well barbecuing and sunbathing! Easy access to woodland foothpats and pretty towns Dieppe and Rouen. Extremally recommended if you are seeking peaceful holiday in beautiful surroundings. Martine, thank you for letting us stay , we'll be back when wisiting Normandy again!!!

Lovely House

This is the second time we have stayed at Martines, we would highly recommend it and would be happy to stay there again when the need arises, Forge-Les-Eaux is a lovely town and very interesting , Martine is a lovely host and very obliging

Het vakantiehuis was echt wel wat we gezien hebben op de site!! Heel aangenaam, vrij rustige omgeving al lag het aan een wandelpad langs het water. De grote tuin voor onze honden was echt top!! Het overdekte tuinhuisje was ideaal om wat in de tuin te zitten, overdag of 's avonds.Het huis zelf was heel praktisch, niet te groot, niet te klein. Alles aanwezig en netjes bij aankomst.Martine was er toen we aankwamen. Het was een warme welkom.In de buurt kan je verschillende eetgelegenheden vinden. Dit was wel leuk zodat je niet te ver hoeft te zoeken. Winkels waren ook op een heel korte afstand terug te vinden.We overwegen om volgend jaar terug te gaan, zo leuk was het.

Geweldige ervaring

Mooi huis in een natuurlijke omgeving aan de rand van het dorp. Prima uitvalsbasis voor het bezoeken van steden zoals Dieppe, Rouen en Amiens. Ook kan je prima wandelen en fietsen in de omgeving. Echt een aanrader dus.

Verblijf Forges les eaux

Fijne locatie, rustig gelegen. Mogelijkheid tot wandelen via bewegwijzerde routes (randonée) of hardlopen ( 3 routes: 5 - 10 en 13 km die vertrekken aan het casino en die goed aangeduid zijn) 13 en 14 juli iets minder rustig omwille van festiviteiten = generator die staat te draaien, maar dat weegt niet op tegen de voordelen.

Sehr schönes Haus!

Das Haus ist sehr schön und sehr geschmackvoll eingerichtet. Lediglich der Garten und die Gartenwege hinter dem Haus sind nicht gepflegt, ein wenig herunter gekommen und könnten erneuert werden.

Une maison fonctionnelle, tout à disposition pour une séjour zéro prise de tête. Cadre magnifique, calme au coeur de la nature normande pour une déconnexion totale . Nous aurions volontiers prolongé notre séjour. Parfait pour notre famille (deux enfants de 9 ans et un chien). Propriétaire disponible et très sympathique. Nous recommandons fortement.
