It boasts all the comforts of a hotel room enclosed in a geodesic dome. Inside you will find a sleeping area with a comfortable king size bed separated by a semi transparent wall from the shower and toilet area. The environment is air conditioned. It also has an Hot Tub.

City Tax is to be payed upon arrival. It is 2,00 per person per day. Maximun 14,00 per person per stay. Children under 18 years are exempted.

I proprietari della Casa Vacanze Eremo di Montevergine sono lieti di ospitarvi nella loro struttura e Vi invitano a prendere attentamente visione del seguente REGOLAMENTO INTERNO. Chi effettua la prenotazione viene definito responsabile della locazione ed accetta tacitamente tale accordo al momento del pagamento dell anticipo prenotazione. L appartamento si fitta esclusivamente al numero di occupanti dichiarati al momento della prenotazione. È ad assoluta discrezione del proprietario accettare o meno eventuali ospiti occasionali. In tal caso, verrà rielaborato il prezzo di locazione in funzione del nuovo numero di ospiti e del periodo di occupazione. Gli eventuali posti letto aggiuntivi dovranno essere forniti e collocati esclusivamente dal proprietario. All arrivo, ciascun ospite dovrà consegnare un documento di riconoscimento valido e corrispondere, se non già versato in precedenza tramite i siti di on line booking, un deposito cauzionale, con carta di credito, di 150,00 euro. Tale deposito sarà interamente restituito, previa verifica del buon funzionamento e lo stato dell appartamento e di quanto in esso contenuto, entro 24 ore dal check out, e sarà visibile sull estratto conto entro 10 giorni dalla restituzione. Il cliente è avvisato tramite mail dell avvenuta restituzione. Eventuali danni eccedenti il deposito cauzionale verranno quantificati e addebitati. Il cliente è altresì tenuto a segnalare, il giorno stesso dell arrivo, al responsabile dell accettazione clienti, eventuali oggetti danneggiati o mancanti. Il proprietario si riserva il diritto di accedere agli appartamenti per effettuare operazioni di pulizia, controllo o manutenzione urgente. ESCLUSIVAMENTE PER L APPARTAMENTO PETREA, un consumo ragionevole di tutte le apparecchiature elettriche dell appartamento è incluso nella tariffa giornaliera. Le eccedenze, rispetto al consumo stimato di euro 4 giornalieri, vi saranno addebitate. Il proprietario non è in alcun modo responsabile di eventuali infortuni, furti, danni alle persone od alle cose solo perché avvenuti all interno della proprietà. Di regola gli orari di Check in e Check out vanno sempre preventivamente concordati con il proprietario. Gli orari limite sono: Check in: dopo le ore 15:00 Check out: entro e non oltre le ore 11:00. The apartment is very well connected with the most central area of Ischia. Anyway you can always ask for directions to I Giardini della Mortella or to the beach of San Francesco. All the main buses will stop at the junction of the highway. From there you have to walk for about 800. If you want to use your car, the hotel has a private parking free of charge.

The Montevergine Hermitage, the earliest settlement in the area, dating back to the early 1700s, occupies a panoramic position overlooking San Francesco beach, which is about 100 metres from the entrance beside the church of San Francesco. This unique setting is just two kilometres from the centre of Forio, in an exclusive location always considered a residential area, with villas and prestigious hotels served by restaurants, bars and supermarkets.It is an ideal location for those who want to enjoy a holiday steeped in the special atmosphere of Ischia, with its nature, relaxation and fun, while enjoying absolute peace and quiet. Nearby are the Zaro woods, with la Colombaia , the villa that once belonged to the director Luchino Visconti and is now home to a cultural foundation dedicated to film and entertainment. The woods also have a place of worshipdedicated to Our Lady of Zaro, while a few steps from the Hermitage you can visit the famous Gardens of Mortella , considered one of the ten most beautiful gardens in Europe. Also at 2 km you can enjoy a day of relaxation at the Negombo Thermal Park or a little further away at the Poseidon Gardens Thermal Park The Hermitage can be accessed from the square in front of the church of San Francesco di Paola, through a wrought iron gate. A long covered patio with an ancient well, lined by beautiful wide arches, opens out to an irregular shaped uncovered patio leading to the main staircase, with classic motifs in Piperno stone. From the main staircase, a large, bright entrance leads to the main section of the hermitage, the Petrea apartment, formerly the residence of an early 20th century English peeress. It is positioned at the centre of the apartments like the pistil of a flower surrounded by the petals. The exposure of the hermitage tothe west allows the beautiful sunsets to be seen from nearly all the apartments, as well as the outline of Ventotene Island on the horizon. Right after sunset, when the atmospheric conditions are right, you can see the vanishing sunfrolic, amuse itself and emit a gentle, bewitching, fleeting ray of light: THE GREEN FLASH . Montevergine Hermitage offers its guests 7 exclusive accomodations, all have satellite TV, Wi Fi, air conditioning and private parking. Most of them are recently renovated and have terraces, sea views and a cooking area with a fully equipped kitchen. The apartments have characteristic names: Petrea, Galatea, Calipso, Nesea, Teti, Actea, Eunice and Seaview Dome. They vary in terms of size and layout, accommodating a minimum of two to a maximum of six guests. At Eremo we are mindful of the news and that is why we have included the "SEAVIEW DOME" within our structure. DOMES were born to protect the environment, a way to get in touch with the nature that surrounds us without the burden of overbuilding. For this they are recognized all over the world for ecotourism projects. THE DOME IS A GLAMPING TENT, made with an aluminum structure covered with a PVC curtain. It boasts all the comforts of a hotel room enclosed in a geodesic dome. Inside you will find a sleeping area with a comfortable king size double bed separated by a semi transparent wall from the shower and toilet area. The environment is air conditioned so comfort is guaranteed both in summer and in winter. Positioned on a belvedere immersed in the greenery of the grove located in the upper garden of the house, the Dome is located in a context where nothing has been altered. To access it you will find a staircase with the original high irregularly shaped stone steps dating back to the past and then a path. Here the panorama is unique. The Dome also has a private terrace overlooking the bay of S. Francesco, Forio and Punta del Soccorso. Behind you still Mediterranean scrub, trees and finally a Jacuzzi to allow yourself a little relaxation while enjoying the view. In the evening, lying comfortably in bed, you can admire in the distance, through the large transparent wall, the lighthouse of Punta Imperatore and the starry sky reflecting on the sea. You will feel like you are sleeping outdoors and it will be a unique experience that you will always remember. We would like to underline that the Dome is completely immersed in the Mediterranean scrub and it is therefore absolutely forbidden to light fires of any kind both inside and outside, and in particular inside it is forbidden to smoke, cook or introduce food, as well as for safety also for hygiene, as the presence of food could attract animals inside the tent. In the area you will find restaurants and bars that will satisfy your every need. The Dome is not a conventional accommodation, therefore, we deliberately did not install the television, to allow you to appreciate the landscape and the habitat that surrounds it with its noises and silences. The wifi instead is present as in all our apartments.
