Country House 'Els Abats' with Garden and Wi-Fi. 100 m from GR 221 Hiking Trail, Cyclist-Friendly

  • Finca Els Abats is in Fornalutx, in the heart of the Serra de Tramuntana, with spectacular views of the Sóller valley and mountains. It has a living room, fully equipped kitchen with dishwasher, bedrooms and 1 bathroom, sleeping 4. Amenities include high-speed Wi-Fi, air conditioning in the double bedrooms and a TV.



    The finca is about 100 metres as the crow flies from the GR 221 hiking trail, one of the most beautiful in the Serra de Tramuntana.



    The outdoor space is the highlight: a private garden, terrace with panoramic views and natural pool treated with chlorine and active oxygen, with water replaced every 7 days. The pool is unavailable on Thursdays from 17:00 to 20:00 for maintenance. It is open from May to October inclusive. Pets are welcome.



    The nearest village, Biniaraix, is an 8-minute drive away. Sóller, with supermarkets, shops and restaurants, is about 20 minutes away.



    Access: the finca is in the mountains, reached via a narrow, winding road; a small car is recommended. The final stretch is on foot and requires sure footing. The host provides parking about 100 metres away and helps with luggage on arrival and departure.



    There are 3 outdoor surveillance cameras: at the main entrance, by the parking and butane cylinder storage area, and at the rear entrance beside the largest bedroom.



    Important: the garden is fenced with gates to protect the plants from local wildlife (lambs); please keep them closed at all times. Guests are responsible for damage caused by leaving them open, and costs may be deducted from the security deposit.

    Outdoor pool: 5 × 4 m, 2.2 m deep. Open from 1 May to 30 October.

fabulous view, and owner

Lovely property, and the owner could not have done more. He met us at 2 in the morning!! Please note the property is a good 15minute drive up a narrow paved road. The swimming pool is heaven and the views stunning. And the house very clean and well equipped.

Beautiful and privat location with an amazing view

Pros: The location is out of this world. Beautiful view of the mountain and valley, and you feel so privat. We absolutely loved the pool area overlooking the landscape, and we enjoyed watching the sun set and the scenery changing as the light faded. The house is so cosy and a perfect mix of traditional Finca outside and a modern and well equipped house inside. We had worried a bit about the lack of air condition. We were there during the hottest week of July, and found that the thick stone walls and shutters ensured an indoor temperature that was acceptable. We all slept very well, even during the hottest nights.

Ein absoluter Traum – sehr gerne wieder!

Pros: Das Haus besticht durch seine wunderbare Hanglage mit einer grandiosen Aussicht und traumhaften Sonnenuntergängen. Besonders toll fanden wir die Vielseitigkeit des Anwesens: Es gibt unzählige gemütliche Plätze zum Verweilen, Grillen oder Entspannen am Pool. Man merkt sofort, dass alles mit unglaublich viel Liebe zum Detail eingerichtet wurde. Die Ausstattung ist erstklassig und lässt absolut keine Wünsche offen. Herzlichen Dank für die fantastische Gastfreundschaft!

Wunderschöne Finca mit Seele

Pros: Die Lage ist absolut einzigartig – ruhig, idyllisch und mit einer atemberaubenden Aussicht. Über die Anfahrt wurde bereits viel berichtet. Wir hatten einen Škoda Karoq, und damit war selbst das steilste Stück problemlos zu bewältigen. Wer bei engen und steilen Straßen schnell nervös wird, sollte allerdings lieber den unteren Parkplatz wählen. Die Finca selbst ist liebevoll eingerichtet, sehr sauber und hervorragend ausgestattet. Trinkwasser muss nicht mitgebracht werden – auf dem Grundstück gibt es die Möglichkeit, frisches Quellwasser zu zapfen. Pep ist ein unglaublich netter und hilfsbereiter Gastgeber. Er antwortet blitzschnell, gibt tolle Empfehlungen und kümmert sich mit viel Herz um seine Gäste. Wir haben jede Minute genossen und kommen sehr gerne wieder. Absolute Empfehlung für alle, die Ruhe, Erholung und eine besondere Unterkunft suchen❤️

Entspannt und Abenteuerlich

Pros: Das Haus und die Ruhe waren super. Entspannung pur. Pep ist ein sehr netter Vermieter und war immer erreichbar. Cons: Wir hatten immer Bauchschmerzen und schwitzige Hände beim Hochfahren. Es sollte nur ein erfahrener Autofahrer machen.

Idyllische Lage umgeben von alten Olivenbäumen.

Pros: Das Haus ist sehr modern und super ausgestattet. Der Sonnenuntergang von der Terrasse aus ist ein Traum. 🌞 Pep der Vermieter ist sehr freundlich und bemüht den Aufenthalt so angenehm wie möglich zu gestalten. Cons: Die Fahrt zum Haus geht über eine schmale Bergstraße mit einigen engen Kurven. Das Auto sollte ausreichend Bodenfreiheit haben, sonst kann man auch aufsetzen.

Sehr schöne Finca in einer tollen Lage

Pep hat uns äußerst freundlich begrüßt und den check in gemacht. Super Lage, mitten im Olivenhain mit Schafen vor der Tür. Einzig die Anfahrt ist ein Abenteuer, kleiner Wirtschaftsweg, der nur einspurig befahrbar ist mit einigen S-Kurven. Wir empfehlen unbedingt mit einem Kleinwagen zu fahren. Das Haus ist schön eingerichtet, alles für einen erholsamen Aufenthalt ist da. Pep war immer freundlich und ansprechbar und ist auch sofort gekommen, wenn mal was nicht funktioniert hat. Insgesamt 5 Sterne 🌟 verdient.

Haut sur la coline il faut une auto pour y aller.

Pros: Le calme, la tranquillité, les cigales, la générosité et la disponibilité du propriétaire. Cons: Les moustiques !
