"I think communication with the host was actually a chatbot. I was encouraged to ask about early check-in and when I did the response was always the same, "ask closer to check-in time". "We had a wonderful stay at Story Studio Coimbra! The room was exceptionally clean, modern, and thoughtfully set up. Upon arrival, we were welcomed with a lovely snack basket filled with fresh bread, cheese, and local treats—such a warm and personal touch! Even though it's an apartment without a formal front desk, the hosts were incredibly kind and accommodating. They let us leave our luggage right inside the room after check-out so we could comfortably explore the city for the afternoon. Their...

"This apartment in the medieval part of Coimbra is close to sights, shopping and cafes. We recommend the friendly cafe at the top of the street. The property is as lovely and well-appointed as in the listing. Just off the Old Cathedral square, although a narrow, cobbled street it is a bit of a thoroughfare. If you are not accustomed to city noise at night it may not be for you. There is also quite a bit of ambient light at night. There are shutters to block the light but they will block the night...
