"Room was clean and fresh. Nice linen . Fairly stingy with tea and coffee but was able to ask for more . Well equipped bathroom . Food options in the bar quite limited and felt pricey for what they were. Chicken curry was lovely but £18 and very small portion of rice and no condiments . Would have liked half pint of Guiness but only comes in pints . Staff were friendly enough when spoken to but not overtly helpful . 3 times I stood back for staff in corridors and lifts before I really thought about it. This shouid come naturally to them . The place is really nice and convenient but seems over priced and lacking in the extra personal attention which makes all the difference . Would stay again though ."
"The 3rd floor room was spacious so and well equipped but unfortunately the windows have not been washed in a while and were extremely dirty due to the birds in the roof."
"good staff, good sized and equipped room, bar and restaurant well presented. Food was very good, really tasty both for dinner and breakfast. Be prepared for no lift if you have a lot of luggage, but is onlyover 2 floors."
"The most amazing staff!! Truly. They made us feel so welcome and at home. The nicest, friendliest people ever! The location was great for access to the Culloden Battlefield and other historic sights as well as Inverness. I only wished I had planned to stay longer."
"The room was really hot and we couldn’t open the window because sash cord was broken.
The room is nice but the sound proofing terrible: we couldn’t open hear every word spoken through the wall!
However beautiful location and great staff."
"We had seen mixed reviews about other people's stays and were a bit apprehensive about what to expect. We could NOT have had a more fantastic stay. Staff were extremely attentive and welcoming especially Veejay( the manager), Gary, Anne and Nadine. We are a family of 6 ( 3 adult couples) and it was the perfect highland base for exploring the area. Food was fresh and was made from scratch. Leave time for leisurely meals. Specially props for breakfast pancakes. Rooms were spacious and beds extremely comfy with beautiful views. Lots of communal spaces to enjoy family time and hang out. Highly recommend !!"
