"What a contrast to my last hotel (Balmoral Lodge, Southport ). St Michael's was everything I want from a B&B and more. Beautiful vintage furniture, period features, immaculately clean, lovely owner, great atmosphere. "The hotel receptionist was friendly and welcoming. Our room #3 was spacious and well-equipped with many amenities, including a fan that helped keep the room comfortable and improved airflow. The bed was very comfortable, and the beach was only a short walk from the hotel. The beach itself was beautiful and made for a wonderful experience. The only issue we encountered was at the hotel restaurant for dinner. We waited approximately 10 minutes without being greeted or served, so we decided to dine at a nearby restaurant instead. The full breakfast the next morning was delicious and made up for the previous evening’s inconvenience. Overall, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would definitely return to this hotel in the future."

"An absolutely stunning stay. Hotel is beautiful and the Laggan bar staff were phenomenal. Only let down by the lack or organisation at breakfast time. No black pudding or haggis and if you leave your seat to get another course you come back to your apple juice and coffee having been cleared away."
