"What a contrast to my last hotel (Balmoral Lodge, Southport ). St Michael's was everything I want from a B&B and more. Beautiful vintage furniture, period features, immaculately clean, lovely owner, great atmosphere. Loved it and the presence of a coffee machine, a fridge and a balcony (looking over the garden) made this a great experience. . Marine & Lawn Dornoch

10/10 Excellent

"Very nice place indeed and would definitely recommend it"

Holiday Inn Express Inverness by IHG

8/10 Good

"I have stayed here before numerous times over the last 20 years. The rooms and punkic spaces are always clean. The rooms arent big but thats not a problem. Parking is good and plenty of it, the staff were really helpful and pleasant at all times. The breakfast in the morning was good, just what you would expect from a hotel buffet breakfast. The only issue I have are the mattresses in the rooms, wow..... really are the worst I have ever slept on in a hotel. I dont remember them ever been that bad. They were so firm and hard, I didnt get a good sleep. But other than that....I had a good stay and enjoyed how clean it was."

Macdonald Aviemore Highland Hotel

10/10 Excellent

"Excellent 2 night stay at this family friendly hotel in October with our two grandkids. Only negative was the pool having to close for a deep clean on one night of our stay so our grandkids missed out on the pool disco, however I am sure this was required for health and safety reasons."
