The cabin features a queen bed, French doors opening to breathtaking forest views, a romantic glass-door wood stove, and an outdoor fire pit with a gathering area, solar string lights, hammock, and several peaceful private sitting spots. There’s an outdoor hot shower and eco-composting outhouse toilet. An ocean-view lookout at the front of the property is a shared space. Surrounded by miles of forest, you’re just a five-minute drive from multiple beaches, state parks, and nature reserves. Pet friendly—please let us know in advance. $35 pet fee per stay for up to two pets.

Ocean Forest Retreat offers four private cabins, each set far apart with forest and fencing between for maximum privacy. Near the front of the property, a shared ocean-view seating area is perfect for sunset watching.
Please note: this is a true glamping experience for those seeking a digital detox and deeper connection with nature. There is no WiFi or cell service. The cabin does not have a kitchen, but you’re welcome to bring a cooler and camp stove. A charcoal BBQ is also provided.

Nearby activities include horseback riding at Ten Mile Beach, tide pooling and whale watching at MacKerricher State Park, guided kayaking, the Skunk Train and rail bike rides, and scenic hikes. Beaches within 5–10 minutes include Ten Mile, Pudding Creek, Virgin Creek, Seaside, and Glass Beach. Or simply enjoy the serenity of the redwoods right on the property. We’re also close to Fort Bragg and its amenities.
