Ocean View Lodge

Ocean View Lodge

10/10 Excellent
"Driving onto the property was a little concerning, but once we opened the door to our room we were highly satisfied. It was very clean, well stocked with toiletries, coffee, glasses, etc. The view on the back veranda was great, and the landscaping along the back was very nice. It was quiet and the beds were comfortable. We would definitely stay here again."

Surf Motel and Gardens

Surf Motel and Gardens

8/10 Good
"Pretty good for the price. The gardens add charm to this old motor court style motel. It could use a few updates and repairs (mainly cosmetic), but the room was clean and quiet. They provide a basic breakfast - toast, cereal, packaged muffins, fruit, oatmeal, coffee and juice - no proteins. Bed was a little soft but overall the room was comfortable and met our needs. Only complaint is that, when we checked in, we were told our room may or may not be ready and the front desk person had "no idea" when it might be ready. She didn't seem interested in checking for us. All the staff we met was just so-so. Not particularly helpful or friendly. But overall we had a good stay and would probably go again if they keep the prices down."

Emerald Dolphin Inn & Mini Golf

8/10 Good
"Our room was as expected, nothing particularly special. The mini golf was not included but you do get a discount, so during our stay it was $7 per person. That arcade was definitely lackluster. Similarly, the the grab and go breakfast was mostly just a few options of packaged food but still better than nothing."
