The Headlands Hideaway

Looking for a cozy coastal stay with history? The Headlands Hideaway offers a full-size bed and a view of Main Street at the Grey Whale Inn. When the building opened in 1915 as the Redwood Coast Hospital, this room served as a private hospital room. Today it retains that quiet, simple character, with many original quirks preserved - including a private in-room shower. Intimate and comfortable, it’s a peaceful place to rest while staying in a small piece of Fort Bragg history. 

This second-floor room is accessible by stairs only, as the property’s historic character does not include elevator access. Please note: this is a pet-friendly room.
