"The host had great communication, the unit was even nicer and roomier than expected from the photos, perfect for our family of four. The beach views and access are unbeatable. The area in general has a lot of attractions within half hour drive. The stock of towels were a huge help and there was plenty of supplies available including toilet paper, paper towels, dishwashing liquid, seasonings, and more were very helpful.The beach access beside this unit is the only beach access spot for the Riggings community so you will have a decent bit of foot traffic walking by the unit since it is right there. The access and sand wash area are outside the bedroom wall so you only notice a talking and noise outside if you’re in there. Wasn’t a problem for us at all, but if you like to go to bed early and need absolute quiet then you may want a sound machine or earplugs. Although you can definitely hear the ocean!Everything was still way less crowded than most any other places we’ve gone to in the summer. We found the stay very relaxing. The beach itself had more of a slope into the ocean so may not be as ideal for toddlers as a beach with a more gradual slope that doesn’t get as deep as fast. That being said, our 4 and 6 yr old had a great time and there were plenty of toddlers there playing, just more of an FYI if that is important to you. Watch out for rocks in the water as well! I would definitely stay again and do highly recommend. "
"Great house and location. Walking distance to Kure Pier. 5 min drive to Ft Fisher and the Aquarium. Plenty of space for a large group. Pool was cleaned 3 times a week. Walkway to the beach. "

"We were a group of 13 family members from ages 3 to 75. We love KB but had never stayed at Ocean Dunes before. We absolutely loved the ocean front home. We spent a lot of our time out on the beach and really enjoyed the rocks in front of the house. The natural pools that were made were a hit for all ages. It was great to pull your chair up to the water and to explore the shallow areas for shells and shark teeth. The house itself was perfect for our crew. It was big enough that we could all have our own space or be altogether. The kitchen was packed with everything you might need. Check in was a breeze and Duffy was a great communicator. He answered our questions promptly and made our experience enjoyable. Our Disney loving family appreciated all of the Disney nuances and the kids loved all of the toys. We’d definitely all love staying here again!"

It seems lights were replaced as they were not out as in some of the reviews below stated & we used a key to get in and out which was no issue at all. Hope to be back!
