"Didn’t get my security deposit back, I’ve cleaned the whole room made sure everything were back in their place & they said I’d get it in 3-5 business days still didn’t get it I never got a email they said they would send me either just the bill nothings states the fact about my deposit. Other then that it’s a 10/10 during my whole stay but a lot of construction around I didn’t really mind it tho bar was really nice & friendly & restaurant as same great experience & the staff was welcoming 😊"

"The property was clean. We liked that the host provided coffee and tea for those mornings when one wakes up and just wants something hot to drink. Having the washer and dryer was very convenient. The property was very close to the Forks and other places of interest. The only thing we would suggest to change would be the bed sheets. They had lint and the lint was rubbing against our skin. Very uncomfortable! Last thing, the area around the property is frequented by unhoused people, especially at night. We would advise clients to be mindful when returning late at night to the property."

"I booked this place mainly because of the location - the historic downtown area. It was an easy walk along pretty pathways by the Red River to The Forks (where the Assiniboine River flows into the Red River). The Forks has great little shops, eating places and a market. We took a 35 minute tour boat to see the legislature building as well as other historic sites along the two Rivers. We could have spent many days visiting museums, including the Human Rights Museum - all in walking distance. The Loft on James itself was historic with high ceilings, yellow brick walls, large bright windows and the decor was really cool with antique industrial furnishings. The rooms were very clean and the beds were very comfortable. Check-in was smooth running with clear instructions. Thank you for a wonderful two days in Winnipeg."
