The rooms were great and the staff was excellent. Two minute walk from the beach, and they had free beach chairs, coolers, and umbrellas to use which is great for visitors. There aren't a ton of reviews because it's new, but would absolutely stay there again for a quiet getaway. Far enough from downtown that it is not load but close enough to walk- 3 minute walk from a little food area that was delicious as well.

Moth ball smell when you walk in, $20 parking isn't clear on Expedia Booking unless you dig for it, the only person that looked like she knew hospitality behavior was housekeeping, front desk was a dining room and when I walked in it was a mess. Breakfast drinks were warm and not on ice. Glass tables hadn't been clean in a while. The only good thing was the room, clean and quiet with a beautiful view!

Serene stay.

Newer boutique, hotel close to conference location. They were very communicative about being recently opened. Staff was wonderful. Lots of high-end touches. Would stay again and will recommend to family and friends who are visiting the area. They will only get better with time.

This hotel has lovely, very spacious rooms with great amenities. With exterior bedroom doors, basically street parking, and only a small pool, it was disappointing to pay a resort fee and parking fee in addition to competitive pricing for the rooms. We thought we were staying on a large, upscale property but it’s actually a more like a nicely renovated motel.

Beautiful property! Great views of beach and harbor… just 5-10 mins walk away from both and the FLL strip. Rooms are fabulous with a great pool and cabanas! Staff is very pleasant as this is a new property. Amazing experience for a very reasonable price! (Hot food Breakfast could be better, but it was free so no real complaints) We will stay here again!

Outstanding Brand New Hotel

A truly outstanding brand-new hotel with exceptional attention to detail. The atmosphere is warm and inviting, perfectly complemented by an excellent design throughout the property. Everything is spotlessly clean, and the rooms are not only neat but also thoughtfully arranged for comfort. The pool area is beautifully designed—stylish, serene, and a real highlight of the stay. This is a great place to stay. This is a sheek and trendy hotel. It is seemingly new or newly renovated. I say that as there are some things they are not staffed for yet lile the bar although they do rent the bar space out for small events. The staff were great during our stay. They have wagons with beach chairs, and ubrellas for you to check out as the beach is only a few stpes across the street. The rooms were extremely nice and clean, there are also some small food stands and bars near by within walking distance. We will definitely stay here again. This was great!

Magnificent Stay at The Barley House We had an absolutely magnificent stay at The Barley House! From the moment we arrived, the staff made us feel completely welcome. Check-in was smooth and easy, and everyone we encountered was incredibly accommodating and easy to talk to. One of the highlights of our stay was the flexibility they offered. Since we had a late flight back to Indiana at 7 PM, they kindly allowed us to extend our check-out time to 3 PM, which was such a thoughtful gesture. A special shoutout to Michaela, Jon, and the rest of the team – their friendliness and genuine hospitality truly stood out. They even surprised us with random treats like fresh fruit and meals, even when breakfast service had ended. That level of care made us feel like part of a family rather than just hotel guests. The Barley House is not just a beautiful hotel, it’s a place where you’ll be warmly cared for. We’ll definitely be back and will recommend it to our friends and love ones.

Lots of Value, With Room to Improve We really enjoyed our stay here! The hotel has clearly been recently renovated — the room felt fresh and modern. The location was less than ideal, but the close proximity to the beach makes up for it, and having a kitchenette was a huge plus for convenience and savings. That said, there are a few things that could be improved. Charging $50 per guest just to visit and hang out with us at the pool (without staying overnight) felt excessive. The floors could have been cleaner, and the soundproofing was on the lower side; we could hear more than we’d like from the hallway and outside. Despite these issues, I’m still giving 5 stars because the positives outweighed the negatives, and the value overall was excellent. We would happily return, and we hope management considers addressing some of these concerns to make the experience even better.

I was absolutely charmed by this beautiful boutique hotel! Every detail, both inside and out, was stunning. The moment I stepped into my room, it felt like a serene spa retreat. The space was open and calming, with soft spa music playing gently from the TV, instantly helping me unwind. I especially loved the private balcony overlooking the pool—it was the perfect place to relax. The bathroom featured a luxurious rain shower, and the provided spa robe and slippers made it easy to leave the stress of the day behind. After a long drive, it was exactly the escape I needed. The continental breakfast was unlike anything I’ve ever experienced at a hotel. Fresh-squeezed orange juice, gold-dusted grapes, smoked salmon, delicate pastries, and so much more—it was truly exceptional. I can’t wait to return. If I could give it more than five stars, I absolutely would!

Basically a 2 star motel trying to be "special" putting lipstick vibe on a 2 star property. Pool was small, few real lounge chairs. The weekend pool party did not exist (4 children splashing around, 2 adults) and I have no idea how they would accommodate it even if they did have it, tiny pool. No gym. No cable TV. Property sits across from empty chain link fence lot. I considered moving hotels on day 1 but stuck it out..waste of time and $$. Room was fine, stay somewhere else on your precious vacation time. BTW, the small downstairs bar/breakfast check-in area, was "sold out" when I arrived for about 30 Guests for 2 day celebration, they also bought the bar out, so, no cocktails for "regular" (paying) guests on a Friday night. Ridiculous. The front desk agent "asked" the group leader if I could have a drink from the bar, they said yes, very generous :) awkward start to a crappy motel stay.

Clean room, very nice bed, very nice check in process. Excellent shower. Checked in early with no fee, had breakfast until 10:30pm on a saturday. Wasn’t that nice but didnt even know breakfast was included so not taking off for that. Very walkable to the beach and have a pool. Very nice view on both sides of your balcony.

I did like my stay at this hotel. The downside is that they don’t have tv service. You only can watch Pluto tv unless you log into your Apple TV or Disney. But you can’t watch basic tv service. Like football games we had to go to a sports bar on Saturday and Sunday. The staff was great.
