We had a room with great amenities, a full, small kitchen with a refrigerator, stove/oven a coffee maker and dishes and flatware. Made it easy for coffee in the morning as well as breakfast, also easy to keep coffee creamer, water, wine, and beer cold.
The pool isn't heated and was rather cool, but sitting outside around the pool was a relaxing treat.

Cottage-like room half block from beautiful beach
Great little place in excellent location. Cottage-like room - very nice & spacious, with kitchen and dining table. Some things could be upgraded (bathroom) and the mattress should be replaced by a pillow-top, but otherwise, was a lovely place that we really enjoyed.

Quaint art deco style. My Jr. suite was spacious and very quiet. Entire property needs refreshing but location is excellent.
Fantastic location to access the beach. Rooms are very dated and showing age big time. Beds are almost done. The pricing is what attracts people.

Not worth the rating
Check-in was difficult as office was closed and we had to go to office next door, reach someone through an intercom to find where our room key and instructions had been left. Areas of mold/mildew in bathroom. Only one chair in the room, and it was too rickety to sit on. Definitely did not deserve the rating it had been given. Will not stay again.
Stayed there for one night. Our room was spacious, clean, comfortable bed, and a nice kitchenette. We enjoyed hanging out on their rooftop deck. The pool was a little cool for our 12 year old daughter, according to her. Excellent location to the beach, restaurants and shopping.

Thank you for your review. We apologize about the pool. We contract out the pool service and have them here twice a week. Unfortunately sometimes that isn't enough if there is a lot of leafs.
Our room didn't have carpet, which we love, never know how nasty the carpets are. People were friendly, very clean, well taken care of. We are coming back to stay for a week instead of 2 nights. We just loved it. The only problem and it was my fault, was we were upstairs, my wife can't climb stairs, it was also a last minute booking and only 1 room left as per Expedia. So next time we will plan this out and make sure we get a bottom floor. We loved it here and going back!!! Please don't hesitate to book. Like old Florida. Thanks Granada Inn. Was a great time.

Thank you so much for your kind review. We would love to have you back with us.
Nice, little inn very close to the beach and Las Olas area. Walkability was great, even in the cooler, windy weather. The room was super clean. Unfortunately we didn't have time to enjoy the pool or patio areas due to time constraints but it looked welcoming and clean, too. The only "issue" we had was not knowing if we'd be towed or not overnight because we didn't receive a parking pass for our vehicle at check-in. We returned from a night out and noticed there were "tow away" signs all along the parking area, so that was a little nerve-wracking to leave it to chance. At check-out, I let the employee know and he was apologetic and gave me a parking pass for next time.

Thank you for your review and your patience with our parking. On the beach during the day parking is at a premium, and tow away signs are in place to make sure our guest have a place to park at all times. We would love to have back with us and with time to use the pool.
I was in Fort Lauderdale to attend a conference but did not want to pay conference hotel high rates. I chose this hotel because it was closest. It is a smaller hotel so ecpectations for business travelers should be realistic. On the plus side: nice staff at the reception, pretty outdoors setting with comfortable chairs and small swimming pools, next to the beach and close to lots of family type restaurants. On the minus side: small room and my bathroom could use an upgrade soon. Smaller things also are overlooked like no cups for drinking coffee and no water glasses. If arriving at mid day, it may be difficult to figure out how to get to the reception. No business like services

Grounds are nice, room was OK, check in was disappointing. We arrived early and were told our room would be ready by 1 p.m. We came back at 2pm and it was not ready. So they gave us another room which to my understanding was not a nice as where they planned to put us, but was what we paid for.
Great location, great staff! Walk everywhere, Duval street is a 3 minute walk away.

Couple on their own spring break.
The hotel is a little tired and the bathroom needed upgrading/updating.
The roof terrace area was a real bonus.

It’s a nice quiet place off the beach on a side st
We lounged around the pool sunning our selves which was nice and quiet. There are many high end hotels on the strip which are very expensive to stay. If your budget minded and not looking for anything fancy it might be worth looking at this place.
We arrived at the Granada Inn after a 7 day cruise of the Caribbean. It was still morning and we weren't expecting our room to be ready but wanted a place to store our bags so we could tour Fort Lauderdale. We were pleasantly surprised to find that our room was ready and we could go right in. We were staying for two days and then heading to South beach for a couple of days before our flight home. The hotel is conveniently located a short walk to Fort Lauderdale beach and all of the restaurants and activities there.
We found the staff to be very friendly and welcoming. We also met a couple of other guests that were also friendly. Some of them had been coming for years, a good sign. The courtyard around the pool as well as the roof top patio were very nice. The pool itself looked very inviting but unfortunately it was unseasonably cold in Fort Lauderdale so we didn't get in for a swim.
All in all we had a good stay and will be back.
This hotel was very nice, quite, clean and convenient location to the beach. the staff was very friendly and helpful during check in and check out. I would visit again soon.
We couldn't have been more pleased with our stay at the Granada Inn. From the moment we walked in and received an immediate upgrade (unprompted) until the moment we sadly had to leave we loved the amenities. The gleaming tile floors and comfortable decor has an old world charm. The two beautiful pools were a welcome respite from the hot sun. They even provided beach chairs for our jaunt to the beach. Our suite had everything we could have possibly needed. The pièce de résistance was the rooftop lounge. From here we reclined upon a comfortable lounging bed, sipped wine and watched the technicolor sun disappear below the horizon only to be replaced with a glowing orange moon.
Older building but redone inside nicely. Great location and parking for going to the boat show, easy walk to main entrance. Would definitely stay again and recommend!!
If you like small, quaint and friendly places to stay, you will love this one. A block from the beach and within walking distance of many restaurants. Very clean, and a nice little pool and lounging area. My husband and I would love to return for an extended stay!
1 box from the beach without fees. Very secure, gates locked. Right behind the Westin Convention Center. They had a few chairs to use for free which was nice. Room11 a was large 1 BR apartmemt. Bed wss comfortable. Lou and Michael were great.
Enjoyed this little hidden tropical oasis! Loved our accommodations and the location of the Inn is close to many things! Staff always helpful and accommodating! Booked another date to go back and relax!
Hotel was close to beach, dated but clean. Bed not very comfortable. Pool was not heated. Was great they had beach chairs to borrow ... loved the beach! Many things are oin need of repair... especially the noisy fan in our air conditioner. Had a great area upstairs with lounges.

Great locatio
This is a small hotel with a great location and free parking. The outside pool/sitting area is inviting and cozy. The rooms are small and need a good paint job and updating, especially the bathrooms. We have stayed here numerous time because even though we are not too impressed with the rooms we love the location.
