Relax with family at this peaceful waterfront cabin tucked away in the Ocala National Forest. A cozy cabin feeling surrounded by live oaks, water, and wildlife. Enjoy the porch, dock, or sitting by the firepit. Plenty of fishing in the area and a public boat ramp 5 miles away. Salt Springs Recreational Area is only 3 miles away! Due to the extreme drought we have experienced this year the water levels are too low to canoe or kayak thru the canal to the lake at this time. Other activities include hiking, hunting, fishing, swimming, and ATV trails. This cute cabin has two bedrooms (1 queen, 1 full) and a queen-size sleeper sofa. It has 1 bathroom. The living room has a rustic cabin feeling with a sleeper sofa, recliner, rocking chair and an electric fireplace. The full kitchen has a stove, microwave, refrigerator, coffee pot and a keurig. Coffee, tea, and condiments are available to get your weekend started. The cabin has A/C and heat, a washer and dryer, gas grill, boat ramp, floating dock, and 2 carports to cover your toys. This cabin is located off Little Lake Kerr cove and has a private canal access to Little Lake Kerr and Lake Kerr. The 1/3 acre property is covered in beautiful oaks. Enjoy the fenced back yard with your furry family (please add pet fee to your reservation), picnic table, fire pit, and the floating dock. This is the perfect place for a quiet weekend away in the middle of the forest. This is a non-smoking home. Please NO Smoking in the house or on the back screened/glassed in porch.
