Relax at Harbourside on Palermo. This stunning four-bedroom home sits directly on a canal and offers a small dock, private pool, and an outdoor space with something for everyone. An open floor plan and vaulted ceilings allow natural light to fill the space. Chat with family while cooking a scrumptious meal in the fully equipped kitchen while they sit at the large island or in the living room. A screened lanai is just off the living spaces and features a small seating area and additional dining space. On the main level there are three bedrooms and two bathrooms. The primary bedroom includes a king bed, en suite, and lanai access. Both guest bedrooms feature a queen bed each. The lower level is perfect for grandparents or a couple with young children. Welcome to Fort Myers Beach! There are multiple state parks nearby that are waiting for your adventures. Jump on the trolley to take you south to the secluded Lover's Key State Park or go north to Bowditch Point Park. The Fish Tale Marina offers boat rentals and dockage for those wanting to get out on the water. Travel around the island in style in a rented Moke or golf cart. Trolley service is also available from Estero Boulevard to the Times Square area, the central hub of Fort Myers Beach. Several restaurants, shops, and bars have come back since the hurricane. If a day trip is what you are looking for check out the Key West Express for an unforgettable trip to Key West. Don’t forget to see Sanibel Lighthouse which is less than 15 miles away! Please note that the area is currently rebuilding after Hurricane Ian. Beautiful property, great location. Very clean, user friendly, had everything we needed. TV’s weren’t set up to watch and live streaming wasn’t an option for our group. Only other comment would be that we could not find a way to turn off the floodlight in the backyard.

Location was perfect. The views of the canal and bay were picturesque and it’s a nice short walk to the beach. The house was beautiful, clean and comfy. Check-in was a little rough but resolved quickly after a few calls. Basic cooking items such as salt & pepper and cooking spray were not included. Logging in to a separate guest portal for information not available on VRBO was clunky and an extra step.

Celebrating our October Birthdays

I rented the Harborside on Palermo to celebrate my oldest (30) and my youngest (21) ‘mile marker’ birthdays. My oldest and her husband live in Fort Myer, but we wanted a place to spread out and be close to the beach. Harborside did not disappoint! The home was immaculate, beautifully decorated, and spacious. The kitchen had everything we needed. We spent each evening on the back enclosed porch visiting and playing board games. It was our favorite! The pool was great! I thought it was a small wading pool from pics but it was quite large and to 5’ deep. This adult group loved it. We had one minor faucet fix that needed made, and management was very fast to repair and very courteous. I will definitely rent this home again when visiting my FM kids.

We enjoyed our stay tremendously. The home was immaculate and had all the comforts of home. We did have trouble with the wifi. None of our guests could connect. We did contact sun palace vacations but they assured us the code was correct as it was listed.
