Really nice, updated, and clean room with a screened waterfront balcony in a perfect place on the island (far enough away from the big resorts to be in a quieter area, but close enough to the center area of the island to be convenient).

Really loved this place. Right on the water, about 75 feet from back porch to ocean. Private and peaceful, everything a weekend getaway should be like. Will definitely be returning.

As a couple in our 50's, we were looking for something quiet and relaxing which is exactly what we found here. There are no shops, pools, bars, or restaurants within walking distance but the beach was PERFECT! We will definitely return! :)

We have a planned a day trip to Sanibel Island for a trade show on Friday in Orlando. However, we decided to extend our stay and find a hotel to stay overnight. We would then return to Orlando on Sunday and drive back to Southern California on Monday. The hotel we chose was very pleasant, clean, and well-equipped with kitchen supplies. It also had a collection of seashells. The best time to visiting is June or July when the waters is clear and warmer.

Island Inn is far beyond our expectations. Check in with Ken was awesome. Its more than a room irs an apartment with full kitchen, screened balcony overlooking the Gulf of America. One of the best places on Sanibel for sea shell hunting. Clean, nice furnishings.

We stayed in a room with an absolutely breathtaking view, the perfect way to start and end each day with the sound of the ocean. The front desk service at check-in and check-out was fantastic – friendly, welcoming, and efficient. The beach is spectacular – peaceful, clean, and ideal for relaxing or shelling. The island still has a lot of construction needing to be done and areas are rundown but the Island Inn was wonderful. The room was perfect and their hospitality was fantastic. I would definitely stay there again.
