Beautiful, spotless room with convenient access to the beach and free use of bicycles to facilitate Sanibel Island exploration. I would have stayed longer, but everything was booked for the holidays.

What a Gem. The place is so clean and the staff is very helpful if you need anything. The accommodations had everything you need. Full Kitchen, all you need is your food and spices/cooking oil-butter. You have 2 decks , one in the back and front with your own beach chairs and drying rack, a hose to wash off sandy feet and your shells if you like Shelling The bikes are older but run well and handy to get to the beach or around town. There is a resturant around the corner that is really good, bagels and coffee and and ice cream shop. The walk to the beach is 4 minutes. We definite will be back again this early spring. You won’t be disappointed!

Our stay at Seahorse Cottages was absolutely perfect! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The cottage was spotlessly clean and tastefully decorated. The kitchen had everything you could ever need. The bed had high quality sheets and the mattress was very comfortable. The grounds around the cottages were attractive and well kept. We loved having two porches as options for spending time outside. One was sunny and one was shady. The pool was adorable and had plenty of seating options. It was nice to come back from the beach and lounge by the pool. The beach was within walking distance and my husband and I enjoyed walking to the lighthouse from the closest beach access. If you didn’t want to walk, the Seahorse Cottages provided great bikes to use. There are two good eating establishments close to the cottages. One is within easy walking distance. The big bonus was the ice cream shop also within walking distance. I would not hesitate to recommend staying at the Seahorse Cottages and I really hope we will be returning in the future!

This place was just wonderful! The cottage is precious- beautifully decorated in a beach theme and complete with everything you need! The bed was super comfortable. We took advantage of the free bikes and pedaled all over the island. This was the perfect peaceful escape. We will definitely visit again!

Quiet getaway.

This is a very nice little place. A block from the bay and 2 from the gulf. Easy check-in. Bikes to use and wagons, beachchairs and umbrellas all in good shape. Easy walk to the lighthouse and several restaurants.

Excellent Value

It was an amazing find. Very clean and well maintained with all The necessary appliances. We stayed in the two bedroom unit with our friends. It’s in a nice quiet area near the lighthouse and about 200 yards to a small beach. Also nearby the marina where we at at Gramma Dots. Shauna the manager of the Seahorse Cottages was extremely helpful, very courteous and professional. Loved her without ever meeting her. Also available at no additional cost are beach chairs & umbrellas, bicycles, wagons for the beach, shelling buckets and net bags for your shelling experience. There is a heated pool in the yard and each cabin has a front and back porch. It was an unbelievable stay one we will never forget and will definitely return on our next trip to Sanibel. We give the place a 10+.

Great location for couples

The location was great, shops and restaurant we walking distance. Beach was walking distance. Check in could not have been and easier and fast. The manager was quite friendly, professional and knowledgable. We would recommend it for any couples who is visiting the Sanibel Island.

Romantic 30th Birthday

We celebrated my girlfriend’s 30th birthday for 3 nights. Great location. Room was in pristine condition. We love Sanibel this was special because it was adults only and there were free bicycles to use. However, we wished the pool was larger, and there was turn down service here as we didn’t realize that until after we had arrived. Other than that, it was a nice resort located very close to the lighthouse and beach.
