Great location! Newly furnished one bedroom unit with a separate bunk room. Directly looking over the lazy river with front views of the bay and a private back balcony off the Master bedroom with views of the gulf.

The Master bedroom has a triple dresser with a large flat screen tv, a king bed with top of the line mattress and linens and a private bath.

The bunk room has a twin set of bunk beds with a private bath.

The kitchen is fully stocked with everything you will need for that stay away from home. It also features great views of the bay.

Enjoy the large flat screen tv while cooking, relaxing in the living room or eating at the dining table.

Sit on the balcony and watch your family play in the lazy river. This condo is a jewel for those with a small family that want a great location, convenient to everything, with great views and comfortable furniture.

We enjoyed the condo, the master room was great with a comfy bed. The kids room is probably more comfortable for smaller kids, not teens. We had a great stay and we would return.

Amazing location!

The property is amazing, location is key as it’s close to everything the Emerald Coast has to offer! And the unit itself was nice… I especially liked the washer and dryer! I couldn’t find a flat pan (like to make biscuits), but it had everything else I needed!

Great location!

We loved the Destin West Beach and Bay Resort. We stayed on the Bay side. It was perfect for us because we liked the lazy river. If you are more of a beach person I would recommend you stay on that side because it is a bit of a hike. That being said. Condo

Great location

The Family enjoyed the view and convenience access to the beach. Most importantly was the lazy pool (many pools) the kids was so hyped when they saw it. I was blown away that it wasn’t a typical ordinary pool. For me Destin beach…we didn’t get along so well because I ended up with skin irritation (eczema) which I’ve never had before and still suffering as of today. Overall the resort was an awesome place to stay for our family. We’ll be back hopefully next summer! (No beach for me)

NOISY!! BEWARE!

Nice condo, but location is NOISY!!! Very disappointed because the bedroom faces the super busy road!! Loud, speeding cars & motorcycles day & night! Hard to fall asleep and you’re woken up super early!! Condo is fairly clean but needs a deep-cleaning. Nice balcony with beautiful view but beware of lots of screaming kids cause you’re right above the lazy river.

Great vacay

Actually, had to leave about two days early, because my wife and it up in the hospital in Fort Walton and was transferred to Birmingham Alabama by ambulance. It was discovered that she had a brain tumor. They performed a biopsy at UHB in Birmingham. They put her on meds to make her safe to travel back home. We are grateful that it was found, but it was very inconvenient for our vacation. We believe the Lord has a plan though. She will be getting treated at MD Anderson in our house state very soon.

Needs a deep cleaning

This property itself needs a good deep clean. My child’s feet were black from walking around the living room with no shoes on. Also the master bathroom tub would not drain very fast when showering. We ended up buying stuff to unclog it. The resort itself is beautiful. It’s a haul to the beach with a cart because of going down one elevator, up another, across the street and back down again but the bridge over is convenient. Check in was easy! Our room was even ready before 4 and we were notified and had access early to our room. The lazy river we referred to as the ice river. It was so cold our 8 yr old wouldn’t get in it and he gets in all water. The other pools were heated and felt great.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This is our second time staying in this unit. We love it but there’s some things that could’ve been better. The ice maker and water dispenser won’t work, the secondary bathroom had mold in the tile shower, and on the last day, the light in the master along with one plug in one outlet stopped working. Since we noticed most of this at the end of the trip, we didn’t say anything. I would definitely stay again and hope these items are fixed. Great view, amazing bed, easy to find, and close to everything. Thanks for another great stay, Pelican 408! See you soon.

I did check to see if this rental would have a hairdryer. They told me no, but it did have two. We had everthing in the kitchen we needed to cook with, but the disposal would not work. We also were not able to get internet to work in the master bedroom. Not a big deal for is as we were there for the beach and swimming. The staff dud respond back fast but nothing was fixed while we were in he rental. Overall great and good for people with kids. We tried the pull out bed on the couch 10/10 would not reccomend it seems to be broken or in very bad shape.

Beautiful stay

Great Location.

I loved all the amenities. The full kitchen the washer dryer in unit made everything easy. The view over the pools and centralized location worked for us. I had very good communication with host. I had 1 question for them and got a fast response. Unit because available early which was nice.
