DETAILED DESCRIPTION
Welcome to Gulf Dunes Resort, unit 408. This elegant 3 bedroom condominium, with its beach front balcony ocean view, may be perfect for your family. The fifth floor elevation provides seemingly endless views to the east and west along Okaloosa Island. This Gulf Dunes vacation beach rental provides enough space for 8-10 comfortably. Flat Screen TV's in each room make it easy to relax. This newly renovated beach condo features new master bedroom furniture, all new bedding, a new sofa and love seat, a new wall mounted living room tv, new lamps, stainless appliances with oversized side-by-side refrigerator. The private balcony features extra seating with a full compliment of comfortable high chairs and tables perfect for your entire family to enjoy.
The living room adjoins the beach side balcony, which also overlooks the pool. The living room is complete with upgraded queen Palliser Cloud Z sleeper sofa and loveseat as well as a large wall mounted smart tv and adjoins both the master bedroom and dining area.

The master bedroom, as with most Gulf Dunes units, has a king bed, dresser, tv, walk in closet and access to the private master bathroom. The bedroom adjoins the beach front balcony. The bathroom has a double vanity, tub/shower combo, and toilet.

The guest bedroom features two queen beds, closet, dresser, tv, and access to the hallway full bathroom. This bedroom has a window view of the front of the Gulf Dunes Resort. Nearby is the 3rd bedroom which features a set of bunk beds, small dresser, and TV which is perfect for kids or teens.

Gulf Dunes Resort offers guests a getaway experience with spacious tropical grounds, sea dunes, tennis courts, grill area, two pools (one heated October thru March), and ample parking. The beach access does require navigation of stairs as you traverse the sand dunes. The beaches of Okaloosa Island are as pure white as beaches get. The sugary soft sand is found nowhere else in North America, attracting visitors from all areas of the world. Wade in the crystal clear water of the Gulf of Mexico. This stretch of beach is part of Florida's Emerald Coast, stretching from Panama City to Pensacola.

Gulf Dunes is near many of Destin's attractions, such as Destin Harbor, outlet shopping, and many other outdoor activities. Para sailing, snorkeling, scuba diving, go carting, jet skis, dolphin tours, bungee jumping, and water parks are just some of what Destin has to offer.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS:
• Beach Service - 1 Set (2 chairs and 1 umbrella) is complimentary and set up daily during typical business hours, weather permitting from Mar 1 - Oct 31. Additional sets may be rented in person upon arrival by occupying chairs and paying when the vendor makes their rounds.
• Canopy: Personal canopies are allowed to be set up behind your beach service, but not in front of any other beach service. (typically back row only)
• Pools: Pools are typically heated as needed to a tenable level, and typically to a water temperature between 68-75℉.
• Parking: Up to 3 vehicles are permitted in uncovered areas only. No RVs or Trailers. Parking Passes are required.

We enjoy staying at Gulf Dunes. It is easy to walk to eat with several different restaurants. Beach is beautiful and chair/umbrella rental is awesome part. We have stayed at Gulf Dunes for several years and are planning our trip for this year.

Gulf Dunes

We have been coming to Ft Walton Beach and staying in Gulf Dunes for the past 14 years. We love the convenience to the beach, the direct patio views from the master bedroom and living room, the pools, and the convenience to Destin without the crowd. The two chairs and umbrella set up on the beach is awesome (thanks Dan!) We love the emerald water and white sand. This unit is absolutely beautiful with wonderful furniture and a fully stocked kitchen. Sunset Resort Rentals advertised as having a covered parking spot which was inaccurate. To date they have not offered compensation for the error. Covered parking spots are prime due to the occasional showers and overall safety for guests plus easy storage for beach items so they don't have to go up to the room. The grill area is charcoal and a nice addition for meal prep. Stewbys across the street is my favorite food while Publixs Grocery Store is across the bridge. Before Memorial Day the water is a little chilly. We will continue to enjoy this beautiful vacation area for many years to come.

Everything was great !

Everything was great !!! The location and proximity to the beach was fantastic. The beach was peaceful and uncrowded. We loved having the chairs on the beach reserved . The extra folding chairs and beach toys for the kids were extremely helpful as well . The inside was spacious and comfortable . Kitchen well stocked with everything we needed for our stay . Would stay here in the future !!!!

The unit was as it is shown and described. The unit was clean, there was plenty of towels for our stay (6 of us), and the view was amazing! We had a small issue with the washing machine and they were there right away taking care of the issue (on the weekend!). The property is conveniently located and easy driving distance (5 minutes) to a ton of different restaurants and little shops. The four star is for the facility itself is getting a little tired and looks tired. However the unit itself was nice.

Great location, great views from the balcony! And super cute. Definitely could be cleaned better. The washer doesn’t spin and drain properly so you have to do the spin more than once with each wash, the water in the kitchen sink isn’t good at all, absolutely no pressure. And some dishes needed to be rewashed like they had been put away dirty. Also the refrigerator didn’t seem very cold but kept stuff cold enough it didn’t go bad. but the freezer was great so not sure if it was going out.

Overall we had a great experience staying in this condo! It’s beautifully decorated and the location is great. Our only complaint is there seemed to be water issues impacting the whole building (we had family staying in other units who experienced similar problems) the water in the kitchen sink barely worked unless you regularly took it apart while using to unclog the sand stuck in it. They offered to come fix it, but it worked with us messing with it and we didn’t want to give up beach time for a repair person to come by. There were also dirty dishes that had been put away as if they were clean which was annoying. The washing machine also doesn’t drain properly and you have to do an extra spin cycle with each wash. Like I said, overall it was a good experience and we’d stay here again.
