The house was spacious, very comfortable and in nice quiet neighborhood. The host was amazing and responded very quickly to my messages. The location is close to Dallas, Fort Worth and surrounding areas. The kitchen was stocked with many items, the only thing I would improve on is non stick pans instead of just stainless steel.

Very NICE!

This house was above and beyond with the welcome snacks, all the supplies you could want in a stay, including coffee pods, and a stocked fridge full of condements. Nice bedding, towels, etc. Outdoor was comfy and also, just a nice feature to have a private backyard. The neighborhood was just beautiful.

All the comforts of home

We enjoyed our stay at this property. The home was large, clean, and had everything we needed (and more)! Beds were comfy, kitchen was well-stocked and Amy welcomed us with several snacks, beverages, bread, and bottled water. Amy was also quick to respond to any questions I had during our stay. There was a nice outdoor sitting area with comfortable furniture and multiple areas in the home for sitting, relaxing etc. We would definitely return if we came back to the area.

This house is great! Amy was very responsive. We found many extras in this house that aren’t in other rentals. We loved the filled snack basket in the kitchen, the basics in the refrigerator, and plenty of other basic items that we didn’t have to buy for one time use. The house was very clean and had everything we needed for 6 adults and one child. We would absolutely stay here again.

Spacious house in a quiet neighborhood despite proximity to a commercial area and busy road. Some amenities are provided, i.e., one set of towels per person, soap, hair conditioner. This is an owner-occupied house. A number of their personal items were throughout the house and garage. The house is in an HOA, and there are some specific requests as far as parking and entering the house only through the garage, refraining from walking on the grass in the front yard, garbage collection requirements, etc. Persons with allergies should know that sheets and towels are washed using scented detergent.Ensuite bathroom and guest bath are on the first floor; jack-and-jill bath only on second floor.Of special note, wine was available in the kitchen for purchase. Also, in plain sight in the garage was a case of open bottles of liquor, and a delivery of wine for the owner arrived during our stay. If you are concerned about the easy availability of wine and liquor, you might wish to look elsewhere.

Dream stay for our son's wedding

Our stay was amazing and more than one member of my family commented on how grateful they were to have this beautiful landing spot in between events. There were plenty of beds and baths to accommodate my adult children and multiple gathering spots for us to spend time together before the big event. The host was incredibly accommodating and responsive, ensuring that our stay was as smooth as possible. The thoughtful touches and excellent communication made a significant difference, allowing us to focus on celebrating our son's special day. Everything we hoped for!

I don’t think we could’ve found a more perfect house for our stay! We were in town for a wedding and looking for a place that could accommodate us and our two adult sons and 1 daughter-in-law. We were excited to all be together under one roof, yet have enough space for each of us. This house had everything we needed, it was as if we lived there. Everything was clean, organized, there were plenty of linens, cookware & utensils, and Amy even left us eggs, juice & milk to start with! The basket of snacks was such a nice touch too. When my wife’s dress had a last minute hem disaster, Amy was quick to reply with where to find needle & thread. Our kids enjoyed their morning coffee in the backyard patio. Instructions for entry & exit were so clear. Any questions we had, we were answered quickly via text. Lastly, location was great, close to Southlake Town Square & Central Market, which we love. Also, there’s a CVS super close & a Starbucks not too far. If we’re ever back in town, we’ll be sure to stay here again. Thank you Amy!

A Dream House Near Dallas

We are two couples who have traveled to a different city every Thanksgiving for 20 years. Generally we share a house. This year we decided to go to Dallas-Fort Worth, and the house we found on VRBO was one of the best ever. Not only was the house exactly as advertised, but Amy our host, was even better. In fact, she was the best VRBO host we have every had the pleasure to deal with. She went above and beyond to get us in a bit early, and to answer our myriad questions. The house was perfectly located in a wonderful neighborhood right near DFW and shopping, restaurants, downtown Grapevine and the highways. In spite of the central location it was dead quiet in the neighborhood. By the way, the neighbors were great as well. The house was beautiful, whistle clean, and amazingly well appointed. There was almost nothing that we needed to purchase outside of some food. The house was perfectly set up for two couples. There was a master suite (almost its own apartment) on the ground floor, and the second floor had its own sitting/tv room. There was even a well stocked office. Honestly, I have to struggle to come up with anything to complain about. Maybe Amy could have made the weather in Dallas warmer (so we could spend more time on the lovely outside patio)! If I were to get super picky, the water pressure in the shower could be a bit stronger, but that is trivial. If you have a chance to stay here -- do!
