Beautiful hotel with a fantastic staff!! We had originally booking our stay in Fortaleza at the Sierra did not like the service nor the facilities. The Vila Galé was fantastic and would recommend all to book a stay there.

The public areas are very nice, but the rooms are very old and in disrepair. All of the windows were broken in our room, the air conditioner was rusted, and the control unit was falling off the wall, the sliding door to the patio could not be locked, and it was this way in all of the rooms at the hotel. it took us an hour and a half to check in because we had to wait in line and switch rooms two times. We were told by the maintenance guy that all of the sliding doors did not lock on the patios, but it was a safe area. Upon checking out, they charged us a 10% service fee, when I asked them what it was for they said to cover the cost that they had to pay Expedia! They did not have an iron so we could not iron our clothes. The steamer they had was not available for three days so we went out and wrinkled clothes to have dinner. everything closes early around the hotel which has very limited options in the area. The main beach by downtown is much much better. It is the only hotel in the area and there are several abandoned lots around the property. Lots of glass and broken debris from torn down buildings along the beaches. Be careful walking in the sand, lots of glass bottle caps, and broken pieces of tile. Service in the restaurant is terrible. The managers in the white shirts did absolutely nothing except play on their phones and talk to each other while we were walking around looking for silverware. The lights in the hotel are turned off at night.

Minha experiência no Hotel Vila Galé Fortaleza foi mista. O café da manhã é muito bom, bem servido e com bastante variedade. O jantar do chef também merece destaque, assim como o serviço do restaurante, que funciona muito bem, com equipe atenciosa e organizada. Sobre a limpeza, o quarto estava limpo na chegada. Porém, durante a estadia, a manutenção da limpeza foi limitada, basicamente à retirada do lixo e troca de toalhas, sem uma limpeza mais completa do quarto. Tive um problema sério com o quarto 1024, que comprometeu minha estadia. A porta de entrada do quarto estava empenada e a porta da sacada não fechava. O quarto ficava no primeiro andar, de frente para uma marquise, com fácil acesso à varanda, o que me deixou extremamente insegura, principalmente por estar sozinha e ser mulher. Solicitei a troca de quarto pela manhã e reforcei o pedido à tarde. Mesmo com o problema não resolvido, não fui transferida de quarto. Fui informada de que a manutenção precisaria avaliar a situação. Pelo próprio relato do prestador de serviço, a fechadura já apresentava problemas há bastante tempo. Precisei permanecer cerca de uma hora dentro do quarto, com barulho, aguardando o reparo, que não solucionou o problema. Além disso, solicitei um quarto com cama de casal, porém foram unidas duas camas de solteiro, sem sequer colocarem um pillow top ou qualquer ajuste para evitar o vão entre as camas. Essa informação não é deixada de forma clara no momento da reserva, o que causar frustração.

Este hotel já precisa de uma atualização. Ele é muito amplo e com excelente espaço, inclusive com muita variedade de coisas para o lazer, mas precisa modernizar. Há, também, a necessidade de contratação de mais funcionários para o período de alta temporada. Haviam poucos funcionários para a quantidade de pessoas hospedadas, então, acredito que em razão dessa grande demanda, os funcionários estavam muito estressados, pouco simpáticos e nada solícitos. Atendimento bem ruim. Por ser um hotel que atende famílias com crianças, penso que seria interessante haver quartos que possuam algum tipo de copa/cozinha. As camas e travesseiros também precisam ser renovados, pois são bem ruins.

Apartamento com móveis antigos, iluminação por abajures. Não tinha tecla de interruptores paralelo na Cama. O restaurante parceiro deles o cervejaria portuguesa demorou mais de 1hora e meia para trazer uma caipirinha nos dois dias que eu fui, o cupim braseiro estava duro, e quando fomos almoçar no buffet (em uma segunda-feira) a comida parede que era do dia anterior. A noite quando fomos comer no hotel os garçons demoraram muito para nos atender(tem poucos garçons para quantidade de pessoas) e a pizza demorou muito. Deixaram muito a desejar, o pior é que a noite não tem nada para fazer ali perto do hotel. Tivemos que nos deslocar, pois o hotel “resort” não tem nenhuma programação legal nem diurno e nem noturno.
