"We were greeted by the very friendly and helpful owner, giving us suggestions for dinner and places to add to our travel route. Our room was nice but the bathroom very small. We had a nice table and chairs outside the room but sadly the mosquitos chased us away. Breakfast was very grab and go but fine for what we paid. Good value"

"Really nice boutique style hotel. Exceptionally clean and quiet. Person checking us in (virtually) gave great advice on where to eat. Didn't really care for virtual check in but that's the only negative."

"The staff was competent and friendly. The room while dated was comfortable. I would stay again without hesitation. Unfortunately, the property was a little worn and doesn't show well."

Lind Camp Black Hills Adventure Retreat

Lind Camp Black Hills Adventure Retreat

10/10 Excellent
"Our family of 4 (kids ages 1 and 4) just finished our stay at Lind Camp. We loved it! The home was very clean and offered everything that we needed for our stay. We especially appreciated the fine details down to the supplied baby gate for the stairs. Pack and play was also available, though we brought our own. The location offered a beautiful sanctuary where we could relax and wind down after full days of exploring the Black Hills. The remote location provides some breathtaking star gazing at night! It can't be over stated that you need to fully read the check-in/property information supplied (including downloading the property specific app, or at least screenshot each page of the information link they will send you), as they correctly suggest you do. This is where I failed. Don't be like me. In the chaotic haste of packing and traveling with two toddlers, I naively assumed I could wait until arrival to read the info packet more in depth, only to realize I had no service in the remote location, and was unable to connect to the provided informational link which included the lock code. Panic ensued. Luckily I had the Host's phone number to contact for assistance. Now the silver lining of my oversight. We arrived at the property around 9pm. Surely I wouldn't get a prompt response so late, right? Wrong! I immediately received an extremely polite and understanding response from the host supplying the access code, thus saving our vacation! Can't wait to return!"
