"This property was a last minute booking after having a terrible night at a different hotel. They were so accommodating and helpful here. My kids and I enjoyed the smaller waterpark feel of Surfari Joes. It was just enough for enjoyment, but not as overwhelming as those larger parks. I will be planning another trip here soon!"

"The property was immaculate! The house has everything you could need and we were able to have a very relaxing vacation with some family friends. we rented a boat on Saturday and had access to the dock, which was so helpful. The hosts Gina and Keith were great with communication and responded so quickly. I would recommend this VRBO to any family and friends. Thanks for hosting us :) We kept seeing a family of swans throughout our time and the kids and adults loved the kayaks."

"Would definitely stay again! Very reasonable rates. Well stocked kitchen with a coffee bar! 2 main bedrooms very comfortable. The third bedroom not as comfy appropriate for only kids due to the interior window. Bathtubs could use some updating and wished there was more privacy in the backyard. Otherwise a great stay with host quick to answer any questions."

"The best part of this place, and there were many, was the price. We called Eric directly, and he gave us a tremendous deal for our two small families. The location is also great: not far from Lake Michigan, but far enough to feel like you're in the middle of nowhere. The mosquitoes were pretty bad - the property appears to be bordered on two sides by swamp-like land (they do spray)- and neither cabin door locks (they notify you in advance) - but aside from those two things, not much negative to say. Communication was outstanding from all involved. Everything was clean and as advertised. The bathrooms were especially nice, as was having ample space for the kids to run around and play. No WiFi is actually a positive touch, from our perspective, to get disconnected. The air conditioning works extremely well. If you're a health nut, know that the water isn't exactly reverse osmosis, but that comes with the territory. If you're an outdoorsy person and on the fence about this place or another one, go with this one."

"Nice place to vacation. Beautiful view. Nice and clean. Beds were very tall, hard for little kids to get up on. The listing looked like there was a trampoline, there isn't. Other than that we really liked it and would stay again."

"We had an amazing week! This place was so cozy, welcoming, and had everything we needed! The lake is the backyard! The host was amazing and always just a text away. They left us a welcome card and snacks, which was so thoughtful. The internet is very spotty , but with all the things to do the tv wasn’t missed much. There was a dvd player with dvds available. This host thought of everything!!"
