"Location was different to what's on the map (it's right next door to the New County Hotel). The apartment was lovely though, looks like it's been recently refurbished and was very clean and comfortable. Kitchen was very well equipped with dishwasher and washing machine. £250 damage deposit seemed quite excessive. Not sure if they get a lot of trouble as housekeeping also came in during stay but didn't do any cleaning, make beds, or fold towels etc (I only knew they'd been because they folded...

"We had a wonderful stay at this charming and unique coach house. Everything was just wonderful, all the MOD cons, wonderful, shower and comfortable beds not to mention cozy fireplace. Great location for day trips and nice and quiet in the evenings. Beautiful grounds to wander around. Fantastic communication with the host. "The property owners were great and made sure our arrival was welcoming with great info and welcome pack. The property is a unique original cottage with hone comforts and incredible view. There are some great walks and lots of activities nearby and a visit to ye older ferrie inn is a must. As with anywhere in this area to get the most you have to prepared to be a bit active and there are a few steps required to get down to the cottage but definitely worthwhile. "We enjoyed staying at Bank House it was so peaceful. Listening to the birds whilst enjoying the views wonderful. Lots of places to sit in the garden. Only thing missing were a couple of recliner chairs to collapse into to relax, snooze, after a long day walking. We were lucky with the weather too so all good. The house was well equipped with information and how everything worked etc. contact with host very good. Garden fine for dogs. The area is absolutely beautiful and we hope to come again."

"I didn’t exactly know what I was letting myself in for when I booked into The Shepherd’s Lodge but it was actually a pleasant experience and it provided exactly what I was looking for i.e. a comfortable place to lay my head at night and have a cup of tea and few quiet hours after a long day at a Folk Music Festival. The only problems I encountered were due to the weather and therefore beyond anyone’s control. "
