"Sideways Inn is a moderately priced motel. We have stayed there many times in the past. This year it seems they have gone corporate. For instance, if you arrive a little early and your room was ready, you would get to check in. Now they have a $50 early check in fee. The rooms have been the same for the last 8-10 years. No improvement. Very disappointed in the water pressure in the shower. Maybe they are trying to cut costs or conserve water, but you just end up taking longer showers."

"First time at the Inn at Zaca Creek and we'll definitely be back!! Stephen, the Chief Bottlewasher (owner/innkeeper/bartender just to name a few titles) was awesome at all three tasks and made us feel very welcome, although we only were able to stay 2 nights....unfortunately, the pool was out of commission during our stay so we'll have something extra to look forward to next time....the room itself aside from a minor stain on a loveseat was absolutely gorgeous and unusual!! We thought there might be some highway noise being right off the 101 but that wasn't the case at all!! We did also have a chance to eat (appetizers) at the Tavern and have some drinks as well...definitely didn't disappoint, and probably the best drinks we've ever had from a Chief Bottlewasher!! :-) Three Thumbs Up!!"

"A beautiful cozy little piece of heaven. Getting to wake up to the birds singing, water bouncing into the pond, while being surrounded by a garden of green damn near out of a movie . Check in was extremely quick and easy. Thank you for having us and definitely recommend to anyone tryin to get away and rejuvenate the mind !"
