The Moxy staff was very friendly and very fast in answering questions. The hotel itself is modern and offers a perfect environment for a relaxed stay. Rooms are clean and welcoming. I would not hesitate to stay again at the Moxy.

We felt very welcome in the hotel. Very friendly staff, space theme in the hotel was on point. Loved the Star Wars references - real attention for detail all around the hotel. Rooms were very clean, bed was comfortable and rainshower was lovely as well. Breakfast was really good, glad to see they even had gluten free options! Darmstadt centre was a 30 minute walk, easy to find. Overall we were really satisfied with our stay and will definitely come back soon!

Moxy tends to be a decent chain due to the fun interiors at reasonable rates, however they seem to have declined somewhat over the pandemic. There were several hairs that were obviously not mine in the bathroom & the bathroom in general had the most pungent nauseating smell of male perfume or after shave. It didn’t come from the hygienic articles & it didn’t subside over the course of my stay so I’m assuming it must’ve been intentional room smell. If that’s the case I [almost weekly female business traveler] don’t appreciate the discrimination.

Decent hotel with minor flaws

Good hotel with few issues. Shower water was cold and not warm enough to have a comfortable shower. This was biggest minus. Hotel at this caliber should have warm water. I ran tap for 10 minutes on all settings but no warm water. Also check in was slow and took over 30 mins to get a room. They should hire more staff. Hotel in general is new and staff is polite.

Nie wieder eine Marriott Bleibe. Zahlungs-Desaster

Schrecklicher Check In Prozess. Verweigerung Zahlungsbeleg herauszugeben. Man wird von 20jährigen Naseweis als Mitfünziger dreist geduzt. Ist nicht cool, sondern anmaßend. Es werden -trotz Ablehnung- 20 Eur Sicherheit reserviert auf dem Bankkonto. Man rennt wochenlang dem Geld nach, zuletzt 450 Eur in Lyon. Nie mehr ein Hotel der Marriott Gruppe.

Trendy en modern hotel op loopafstand van Darmstadt Hbf. Geluidsstille kamers en uitgebreid ontbijtbuffet. Kast op kamer ontbreekt, in plaats daarvan gevlochten staal waaraan iets kan worden opgehangen met kleerhangers.
