This piece of property is stunning, we stay during leave change with our pup and couldn’t have had a better time. The property is bordered on three sides by a beautiful creek
We loved spending the weekend here! We enjoyed fishing in the creek, and the property was so peaceful.

The owner Robin was very nice. The property was beautiful. The cabin was clean and beautifully rustic about 3 ft from the creek, off the back deck. Loved the wood burning fireplace and the firepit area next to the creek. The (wild) turkeys were very cool! Would do again!
The property is beautiful!!! So relaxing with a wide stream running along it and in back of the rustic cabin. Trails for hiking. If you want to get off the grid this is the place for you. The hosts were great as well!
Such a fantastic property! Beautifully decorated in vintage style. Amazing location. Tranquil, cozy, totally relaxing. We definitely want to come back (maybe in winter)
Upon arriving at the property, we immediately fell in love with the seclusion in the setting. We will definitely plan on coming back to this place. Thank you again
Every summer we take a week to go to the Carolina mountains. This was our first time to Franklin, NC and the cabin. It was an absolutely wonderful vacation. The cabin and the property are both amazing. The raging creek is right at the back doors and the sound and coolness from it will put you in total relaxation as soon as you arrive. We brought our 5 yr old dog and she loved roaming the property and swimming at the swimming hole. It was an amazing vacation for us all!Terri, Dennis and Sage
Loved our stay at this beautiful cabin by the creek! The cabin made you feel like you’ve gone back in time! It was so nice to disconnect from everything and just enjoy the beautiful grounds and pond! We had everything we needed and the bed was so comfy too! Thank you so much for sharing your beautiful place and we look forward to returning! Bob and LuAnn Fisher
This was a very unique stay. From the wood stove and fireplace to the babbling creek and bath. We had a great relaxing stay and appreciated the time to disconnect. Like stepping back in time with modern conveniences.
My wife, dogs and I had an amazing getaway . We spent most of our time relaxing and taking in all the amazing scenery. We made several trips to many national parks that weren’t very far away seeing many waterfalls and other beautiful sceneries. Ate some delicious food and had wonderful conversations with friendly patrons and staff at several local restaurants. Our favorite was Ms. Lois’ Restaurant.
This was our 3rd time staying here, we love it so much! There are so many things to do in the area...but this property is perfect to just unplug and relax. We brought our dog this time and he enjoyed playing with the property ambassador, Winter, a yellow lab! The property is so peaceful, enjoy coffee and meals on the porch or bridge and just listen to the sounds of the creek!
This is our second time staying and it was every bit as good. I cant recommend it highly enough. We built a roaring fire and listened to ghost stories after dinner. There is a trout stream on the property and perfect for a little fly fishing. My wife took many baths in the large claw footed tub. If you need to get away, look no further.
Loved everything about our stay! I’ve booked several cabins over the years for weekend getaways with my partner and this is one of our favorites. We loved the elegance and simplicity of the place. The thought and details that went into the cabin decor can’t be beat. We truly felt like we took a step back in time before the internet ruined everything! It was perfect for a quiet and restful weekend. We’ll definitely be back.
The stay was amazing, the property was a dream! I only wish we had more time to stay and relax at the beautiful cabin. I loved sitting on the back deck and listening to the creek! Oir son loved trying to catch a trout, no luck though. My wife loved taking pictures of everything on the property, especially the covered bridge.
We stayed here for a weekend and absolutely loved the place. It's very quiet and very beautiful. I wish we had more time to stay there. The owners were every nice and respected our privacy. Would definitely stay again.
