"The hotel was nice and clean, staff was nice, the only concern I had was the air conditioning unit in our room made a noise that sounded like a critter(mouse) was in there at night. I did inform staff when stay was over ( there 2 nights). I forgot to do so when leaving. Other than that no complaints."

"Stayed one night on September 27th, 2025. Was able to check in early and had bags personally delivered to our room. Once we finally got a hold of the owner Geraldine, she was very friendly and helpful. The room was very cozy and secluded and amenities were very good. Would not recommend for elderly or very obese people as the steps up to the bathroom were tight and steep but once you get there the bathroom was very clean and well maintained. Air conditioning worked very well and was needed as it hit 85 deg. F the day we were there. Coffee machine Kurreg was also well equipped. Was able to leave our bags with the owner in her shop after checking out which was very helpful since we didn’t have to haul them around the rest of the day until we left. Location was excellent as was within easy walking distance to all of the shops in Jim Thorpe. My only complaint is that it didn’t have a microwave oven. Overall though I would highly recommend this place even if a little pricey."

"Great location but off the beaten path. Just enough space for a comfortable nights rest with easy access to all of the local charm & amenities. "

"Tidy home with all necessary amenities provided, including all kitchen necessities, select toiletries, coffee/chocolates, condiments and spices. Beds were very comfortable and linens were of good quality. Instruction guide had all the information needed about the home and the local neighborhood including restaurant and entertainment options. Host was extremely responsive to emails and was very pleasant to communicate with. If we aver gave a reason to stay in theat area again, we will definitely rebook if it remains an option."

"This property was a great place to stay. It was very clean and was nicely furnished including an arcade game which was fun. It’s very close to Jim Thorpe and was walkable to several restaurants. I was in town for a Reading & Northern train ride and it’s only about 15 minutes from the train station in Nesquehoning. I will definitely try to stay here again in the future if I’m in the area. "
