It is an easy stroll through unique neighborhoods to Main Street where you can enjoy a day of shopping, an evening dining and visiting the live music venues, or grabbing a treat at Clear River!

This home offers unique opportunity to stay close to everything. This 3 bedroom, 2 bathroom 1930s home has been updated. It features longleaf pine floors and a full kitchen.

Honey's Haus is over ~1450 square feet and consists of 2 bedrooms and 1 bath on the main floor with a third bedroom and full bath in half story area. The home has a living room and full kitchen. The downstairs has a king bedroom with an antique clawfoot tub/shower combination. Please note to access the second downstair bedroom you have to walk thru the king bedroom or from the exterior porch.

We completed the half story area at the end of May 2019. Here are a few disclaimers about this new space.

1. It is up stairs that are steeper than normal since the stairs are original to the house and constructed in the 1930s.
2. It is a half story so the ceiling is low on the sides and you have to watch out so as not bump your head along the perimeter of the rooms.
3. You have to walk through the downstairs full bedroom to access the third bedroom/second bathroom upstairs.
4. When including this half story space, there two king beds and 1 full bed available in the entire home.

Fantastic House

My mom and I stayed at this lovely home for a quick weekend trip and loved it! The location is great-we could easily walk to shops and restaurants. We had a fabulous time and will definitely stay here again in the future.

Quaint Cottage Within Walking Distance to Main Street

We enjoyed our stay at this quaint cottage. It was perfect for my husband, teenager and me. It is very clean and close to everything. Would definitely stay there again.

Comfortable home close to Main Street!

We enjoyed our stay at Honey Haus. The house was comfortable with enough space for our family. The attic suite was unique. We loved the location because it was just a few blocks from Main Street. The road noise along Travis can be a little kid when falling asleep or waking up, but a white noise app helped. We would stay here again!

The house is within easy walking distance of everything on Main Street. The kids loved the old fashioned feel to the farm house.

Location was great. Owner communication was great. House was perfect for our wkend away. Loved the firepit & sun room. Be aware that 3rd bedroom & 2nd bathroom are on 2nd floor that is up very steep stairs (original to 1930s home) with very low/angled ceilings. Upstairs bsthroom only has tub with handheld shower sprayer. Not easy to get in & out of. 1st floor bathroom had shower in beautiful claw foot tub, but again, not easy to get in/out. All 4 of us are in 50s & in ok shape but all commented on struggle with bathing.

This house was so cute and exactly as described on the website! It was the perfect location for walking to the restaurants and shops. The backyard was perfect for sitting around the firepit after a long day of visiting wineries. This was a great trip for us siblings to reconnect!

Location is PERFECT

For our first foray to Fredericksburg, this property was absolutely PERFECT for exploring this town. It’s a block away from the Pacific War Museum, and three blocks from Main Street. This is a really cute house, and we had plenty of room for our party of five. Two downstairs bedrooms with a shared bath, and an upstairs bedroom and bath. We spent evenings relaxing and watching a movie on the large UHD television. Beds were all very comfortable, and the kitchen is well equipped for any cooking needs. This property is highly recommended both for comfort as well as for its proximity to Main Street. Thanks for hosting us!

Wine weekend

The location is amazing-walking distance to main street. The house was clean and stocked with coffee pods etc, however only 1/2 roll of toilet paper so we had to get that right away. While we were informed that the loft stairs are inside one of the bedrooms we did not realize you had to walk through bedroom 1 to get to bedroom 2 to get to the loft room. There is an entrance to bedroom 2 through the laundry room but all the bedrooms are ultimately connected by a door to each other so there’s zero privacy. We traveled with family so it was fine but may be awkward for other group types. The loft bedroom has a bathroom but there is no door to the bathroom and no shower just a tub. The check in process was very simple and communication was great.
