Had a great stay with 5 moms for a weekend getaway to Fredericksburg. Comfy beds, plenty of space, and the hot tub was a delightful treat at the end of each night!

Lovely Fredericksburg Getaway

We enjoyed our stay here. Quiet neighborhood right near main street. House was well appointed, beds were comfortable, and backyard and pool were very nice. Host was quick to respond when we had a question on the hot tub. Overall a great experience.

The house was perfect for a friend's weekend getaway with 4 adults. We spent a lot of time on the back patio and in the pool. The neighborhood was quiet and peaceful and we loved that it was close to main street for shopping and eating. The house was very clean, well maintained and cutely decorated and had everything we needed. We are already looking forward to our next visit.

Overnight Stay - Lone Palm House

The Lone Palm house is in a lovely Fredericksburg location and the host provided thoughtful touches like early check-in and a welcome package with s’mores and wine. However, multiple maintenance issues significantly impacted our stay.Issues encountered:•All bicycles had flat tires (kids couldn’t use them)•Hot tub wouldn’t heat despite following instructions for 3 hours•Grill was very dirty along with tools. We cleaned everything, but grill grate had a hole and was deteriorating. Property probably needs a new grill. •Ice maker was frozen solid and unusable•Coffee maker took 40 minutes to brew 10 cupsThe host was responsive when we reported these issues and offered partial compensation, which we appreciated. However, these maintenance problems should have been addressed before guest arrival rather than requiring troubleshooting during vacation.The property has potential and the host shows genuine care, but I’d recommend confirming that advertised amenities are functional before booking. Multiple equipment failures can significantly impact your stay.
