The four private suites offer contemporary comfort in the middle of downtown Fredericksburg. Guests are amazed, however, that such lush landscaping and serenity can be found so close to the finest shopping and restaurants in the Texas Hill Country.
Kelly's Creekside offer four different suites, each with its own personality. Sarah's Secret is a cozy, private cabin-like cottage on the grounds with its own patio and its own charm to boot! The cottage offers an open floor plan with a king size bed, a comfortable sitting area and a Twin sleeper sofa. Guests also enjoy a nicely equipped kitchenette and dining area. Of course, Sarah's Secret also has a private bathroom with a corner shower. Sarah's Secret is simply a beautifully decorated cottage with beautiful views of the lush lawn and creek area. Privacy, views, and fabulous location make Sarah's Secret one of the most popular suites of Kelly's Creekside!
However, Kelly's also offers three other suites: Sandy's Serenity, Erin's Escape, and Leah's Loft, each offering their own special charms and with varied pricing for different budgets. Rent just one and enjoy a perfect couples' getaway. Or rent them all in order to accommodate small groups up to eight guests. Either way you simply cannot go wrong choosing Kelly's Creekside as your Texas hill country haven.


- Quiet Time is from 10:00 pm to 7:00 am, per City Ordinance
- If we are called due to complaints violating Quiet Time:
1st Offense will result in a $250 fine.
2nd Offense will result in a $500 fine.
If police are called, you are responsible for any fines or fees issued with the citation or warning. If police are called there will be a $500 fine, even if no citation is issued.

We enjoyed the view from our room and the seating area outside. The hot tub was very relaxing too. Peaceful comfortable place to stay. Location to Main Street is a plus. We enjoyed the rain and watching the creek and wildlife. Wish we had seen some deer. Would love to stay there again!

Great stay!

The location was so great. Right off the heart of Main Street, but with the creek and lots of trees, you felt secluded. The hot tub was a great addition. They also have a deer feeder that brought deer close to the house in the evening. It was a great surprise and a nice touch to our evening.

The house was so quaint and cute! The view was just beautiful and we loved the hot tub! The bench down by the creek was peaceful and perfect! We loved the cute deer that came up to eat from the feeder and loved how close a walk it was to everything on Main Street and the park!!

Great little place for a quick getaway. Walking distance to downtown if you wanted. Only negative was didn't realize had another room above us and they were a little noisy but wasn't a big issue. Saw LOTS of deer while in hot tub as well as from windows.

The wife and I stayed for four nights here. The cute room is right on Barton Creek in the backyard. Deer, ducks, and squirrels frequent the area. The Private Hot Tub is located so you can view the creek. Very Vice 5*****!

"Pleasant Place in the Forest"

Indeed, so it is--but within blocks of the Nimitz Museum and good restaurants in downtown Fredericksburg. Property looked just as shown in picture. Deer came along the small creek right up to the feeder several times while we watched from inside the cabin and then from the table outside. Hot tub easy to work. HEB grocery within blocks for use with microwave and small fridge. We will definitely return!

Enjoyable Time

Perfect location and easy check in. While my wife and I didn’t go to watch TV, because of the chilly weather (37 degrees), we decided to stay in and watch a few movies. The TV is extra, extra small and not the typical TV you might expect. Hard to view. The shower is also tiny. If you’re over 6’ tall and 180 lbs you’ll have a hard time maneuvering around. This was in Sarah’s Secret.

Unit was very nice and comfortable. Good location. Visitations by the deer were a treat. Negative is shower and bathroom floor are both very slippery when wet. Wife slipped and fell out of shower onto bathroom floor last night there. No medical attention required, but some scrapes and lots of bruises.

Great location & Host communication - Stone steps to rental.

Sarah’s secret was a great stay. The location of the rental to Main St. was walkable and in a quiet neighborhood overlooking some nature. The host was prompt and attentive in communications. Rental was clean and ready. Hot tub worked well. One call out - Stone steps leading down to rental may pose as a limitation for some with mobility issues. As shown in one of the photos, the stone steps (with handrail) descend to the rental entrance. Bringing luggage down & going up/down was not too terrible, but a call out for someone with physical accessibility limitations.

Misleading add

The Secret is that it's part of a cottage, neighbors directly above and the hot tub is below the upstairs neighbors. Hard to get to the cottage if you're of any age having rock steps to climb and the handrails there are low, and when it's hot you can't touch them. While the bed was ok, the bathroom was small and dated with a very small shower. Be prepared to hunt to get to the cottage itself, we walked all around the whole complex. The one good thing is it was clean enough and it is very close to downtown.

Liked Sarah's Secret and comfortable accommodations. The family of deer just outside the window was a beautiful and unexpected added benefit. Read through lots of notes and saw numerous comments about difficulties with AC/heater unit, TV access and hot tub. Better instructions for TV and AC/heater would be a recommendation. We figured it all out but for others it appeared to be more difficult. The hot tub for our unit was inoperable. We were there when the tech repairman appeared and he said our Sarah's Secret hot tub has been down for quite some time. It would have been nice to know ahead of time or to be able to use others. Your rep (Elaine) was made aware of our heat issues and the hot tub problem....apologized and said she was going to bring us a bottle of wine as a gesture of apology....nothing came. We loved Fredericksburg and will visit again but probably look at other lodging options.

This is a great little place to stay. I absolutely loved it. Everything is walkable, but you’re in a secluded area. Good bed and pillows. Hot tub - amazing. Communication clear and easy - great hosts - super nice. We will definitely book here the next time we are in Fredericksburg.
