Livery Stable During the civil war period the Livery Stable was used as the "livery" for the Confederacy in Paducah, Kentucky. Built above ground this 2 bedroom log cabin has been completely restored and is the perfect place for a romantic stay for two or a fun filled getaway with friends or family. If Rustic charm with modern amenities is what you are looking for Livery stable is the perfect place for you! If you have a larger group of up to six you can rent Livery stable and Grist mill log cabin together. Located right next door to Mr. Gatti's.

**Please note, cabin is located close to the Hill Country SPCA, so occasionally barking can be heard**
- Quiet Time is from 10:00 pm to 7:00 am, per City Ordinance
- If we are called due to complaints violating Quiet Time:
1st Offense will result in a $250 fine.
2nd Offense will result in a $500 fine.
If police are called, you are responsible for any fines or fees issued with the citation or warning. If police are called there will be a $500 fine, even if no citation is issued.

Love the Cabin

We loved the cabin and would stay there again for sure. We are already planning our next trip. The only thing I wish is that the unit was a little more private and not in the parking lot of the pizza place, but we made sure that the window curtains were all closed, so that made it feel more secluded.

Cute and cozy

My fiancee and I came to Fredericksburg for a conference and his birthday. We picked this place because it was close to the conference center and very cute. Aside from being in the parking lot of a restaurant and guys doing some kind of construction underneath it was a great little spot for what we needed. The style is very well thought out and it was very comfortable.

We loved our stay!

The Livery Stable was very comfortable and relaxing. My complaint is that I had no idea it was upstairs. I never saw or read that it was upstairs. My friend and I are older and find climbing stairs very difficult. We made it though. We just took them slow and easy. My other complaint is the shower head. I think it needs a good cleaning or replaced. Overall our stay was nearly perfect. We love Fredericksburg and really enjoyed our stay. We will recommend your place to everyone we know.

Nice place to stay

I rated this place low because of the construction work that started at 7:30-8 in the morning. We were not expecting to hear hammering on the beams of the house1st thing in the morning. We should have been made aware of the work going on before we rented for two days. Other than that, it was a good place to stay. Good location!

Unique Stay

If you like history, you will love this place! Technically big enough for six people, but can only accommodate four. I was there with my husband, and it was huge for us. There are small details that I would improve for a five-star experience, but for the price I thought it was amazing! We loved sitting on the deck and looking at the stars at night, and we loved how cool the rooms were even in this Texas heat! All the decorations and history in the building were so cool, and soaking in the tub after a long day of horseback riding, was a relief! (We went riding in Harper, TX, 20 min away) We will definitely stay here again, and bring the kids next time!

Suggestions

This place is a cool looking place and I would stay again but I would suggest taking the B&B down it is confusing i thought it was went i made reservations. The stairwell is extremely dark even in the day and you cannot see the lock box numbers without a flash light. Then when inside is also very dim we seen several lights that needed to be changed. Two of the door handles come out and need repair. There was a huge chunk of ice that was built up so the frig wasn't working that great. I would suggest taking all the wine bottles out makes it look tacky and from the outside seeing all of them looks like a college frat house. Last just a better cleaning there is dust on the fake plants and on top shelves. The decor is awesome and you do feel like there is some history there. Would be cook if there was a background story about the place. That's all I got. Thank you for the stay.
