"We enjoyed our stay at the Wyndham. The restaurant and trolley discount came in handy for our group. The hotel was conveniently located to all the action and we found it easy to walk wherever we needed to be. The staff was very friendly and welcoming. I would highly recommend staying here. We were traveling with a group of 20 so we had several rooms booked - everyone was happy."

"Stayed there for the weekend! The staff were lovely and so nice. The hotel otherwise, needs a serious upgrade. TV's were legit from 2001. Desk with no chair. Toilet looked like it belong in a gas station bathroom. Stains in carpet, on chairs. Smelled like a dorm room. Would I stay there again for the price/location? Possibly. "

"The Lobby is the nicest place in the hotel. They called me a day prior to check in to let me know that the room we booked is not available due to construction. I’m sure they knew this but waited last minute which makes it hard for us to find another accommodation. They offered to move us to a suite, which I thought would be an upgrade, but the suite was old and outdated which is usually fine, but this one’s old and dirty. Also, no microwave which is a basic need for hotel rooms. The televisions were also dark and settings aren’t available to adjust brightness. Our pullout bed was disgusting it had stains on the couch and on the bed. They clearly didn’t change the sheets before putting us there because there were hairs and dirt on it. The robes also smelled like my grandpa. I should have read reviews prior to booking but I feel like I was catfish from the hotel website. Overall, It’s worth 1 star but i gave it a 2 because the lobby was decent. Will never book here again and I do not recommend it."

"Check-in was easy and staff were friendly and helpful throughout the stay. Location was great for French quarter and Frenchmen’s music scene. Rooms were standard. Breakfast was fine but not super fresh with exception of biscuits which were great. Pool area is a nice respite. Would stay here again. "

"The staff and hotel were very nice! I will definitely return on my next visit to New Orleans. Location is excellent. I only wish they had more options for food on site. Restaurant is fantastic, but closes at 10:00 p.m. and there are no snack options on site. Not even a snack vending machine."

"Definitely not as advertised… for the price and the reviews we were expecting otherwise. The pictures are definitely NOT accurate to how the property presents in person. The balcony that we paid extra for is actually a shared balcony with the room next door which was a surprise. Pool was in rough condition with no pool bar opened as advertised, blinds inside of room were very difficult to open and close, facet to sink was difficult to turn off and on. Overall, for a 9 out of 10 rating priced at one of the more expensive options in New Orleans, it was a huge let down. "
