Eclectic Cabin On 20 Acres Near Red River Gorge

We are a 20 Acre old tobacco farm with a private gorge located 15 minutes from the North entrance of Red River Gorge. Come relax and get away from it all in this 2,000 sq ft creekside home. The barn in the backyard is the entry way to the trail that leads you down to the creek and waterfall or through the forest and up to the top of the hill where you will find over an acre of clearing perfect for bonfires and stargazing. This modern cabin has a large eat in kitchen for 10 and is fully stocked with all your pots and pans as well as plenty of plates and utensils to spare. The two main bedrooms each have a queen bed and a sofa sleeper perfect for kiddos. The middle bedroom is great for kids with a couch, a smart TV, Wi-Fi, and bunk beds with a third pull out bunk on the bottom! The living room has a full size pull out couch for additional sleeping area. There are 3 decks and a large patio at the back with a 8 Adirondack chairs, a fire pit and a grill. There is a play set for kids directly out back plus an outdoor dining table for dining al fresco! If you are looking for more camp vibes or want extra people to join your group check us out on Hipcamp! occasionally there may be folks camping up on the hilltop. You might see them if you venture to the hilltop camping area or on the trail. They are instructed not to be in your private area from the barn to the house. Feel free to explore all 20 acres! Want to rent the entire property out including the house, vintage camper and camp sites? Talk to us about your groups needs! We have outdoor security cameras for added safety.
Just like in the gorge there are dangerous drop offs on our property. we have done our best to mark them but not all are marked. Children must be supervised at all times. Its a beautiful property and we hope you enjoy it as much as we do! All photos were taken right here on our property. Please note, we participate in NO MOW MAY This helps preserve crucial pollinator habitats. We will start mowing again when the wild flowers die back around the first week in June.

Wonderful for Nature Lovers
Cool little place with fun decor. Wonderful nature all around, with lots of outdoor spaces to explore. We saw salamanders, skinks, frogs and toads, many butterflies, and tons of wildflowers. The friendly outdoor cat was a welcome surprise. Great place for a digital detox, with only one TV and no video games.

Cute whimsical house
The house was quirky and fun and grew on you the longer you were there. Such a nice place to stay. The hostess was helpful with advise of places to go to and restaurants to eat at. The house was clean. They also had night lights, plenty of toilet paper and paper towels where you could easily find. Kitchen was well stocked with dishes, pots, and pans. Everything was well labeled. The property was fun to check out. Gorgeous views. Very dog friendly. I would stay at it again next time we are up that way.

Great house near Red River Gorge attractions
The house was very clean and well-stocked with everything we needed. We were 5 adults and 3 kids so we used all sleeping areas. Kids’s area must be walked through to get to bathrooms and one of the bedrooms in the back. Location was good with many beautiful hiking trails in the Gorge within a 30-min drive.
